Natural8 – WSOPC: ‘BlaireauEnColere’ Wins Ring Event Big $500, Lestor Edoc 4th; ‘274AS’ Ships Monster Stack WSOPC Title

This Sunday was another jam-packed action session for the online poker scene with the WSOPC currently running on the Natural8 – GGNetwork. Results are in for two ring events of the series, the Big $500 $2M GTD and the Monster Stack $500K GTD awarding players a combined total of over $4M in prize winnings just for these two major tournaments.

More consistent winners are also building their bankrolls by taking down smaller field but fairly high priced events. Japan’s ‘Emperor Jimmu’ alone impressively took down the $25K High Roller event and came in runner-up for the $10K High Roller making him the biggest winner for the day bagging over $600K in prizes.

Albania’s ‘Themattedmongrel’ can also be constantly spotted in final tables of various events in the series. This weekend alone, the prominent online player agreed to a heads-up deal for the two $5K High Roller events allowing him to scoop up a sweet $177K in scores.

As points are tallied daily for the leaderboards, participants in the run for the Player of the Series title and an invitation to the $1,000,000 freeroll World Series of Poker Global Casino Championship official bracelet event are still up for more chances in the coming weeks. With 20 days to go, 13 more WSOP Circuit Ring Events are lined up for the schedule ready to shower players with whopping cash prizes.

The $1,000 Main Event with $5M GTD and $25K High Roller Championship with $10M are also coming up with the final day to be held on the 31st and the 17th respectively.

‘BlaireauEnColere’ Wins Event #5: Big $500 $2M GTD ($ 330,411) – Lester Edoc Takes 4th

Another successful major tournament has recently concluded with Brazil’s ‘BlaireauEnColere’ emerging victorious for a massive $ 330,411 score. The fifth ring event of the series once again shattered its guaranteed prize pool of $2M pushing it to as high as $ 3,465,125. With players all over the world jumping in the game, a total of 7,295 entries were recorded with only 1,084 qualifying for the final day. Familiar names joined in the action with GGPoker ambassadors Felipe Ramos and Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier falling short and settling for the top 100 players.

Seven hours of play was what it took for the tournament to finally reach its final table with Lester “mon$terDad” Edoc in for the chip lead and “BlaireauEnColere” following right after. It didn’t take long to make the game short-handed as “CarneAmigo”, “Dosobyc”, “THE EPIDEMICS” and “Kevin Pu” busted in rapid succession. “Goldig” followed a half hour after his flopped set got outdrawn for a turn boat which sent him to settle for 5th place. Filipino pro Edoc was now left to battle three other Brazilians but inevitably ran pocket Jacks to the almighty Ace-King and was sent to the rail for a nice profit of $ 159,979.

Almost an hour ensued until a deal was discussed and agreed upon awarding each player over $300K. Shortly after, Brazilian “BlaireauEnColere” who got the least payout among the three was crowned $330,411 as well as the coveted WSOPC Ring and an invitation to the Global Championship games.

“274AS” Ships Monster Stack WSOPC Title ($ 134,909)

The fourth headline event of the series being the Monster Stack $500K GTD was also a highly anticipated tournament of the festival given its more play involved format. The event attracted a total of 5,155 entries with each posting an affordable buy-in of $200 to double its guarantee in value bringing it up to $ 948,520.

Luxembourg’s “247AS” dominated the large field and steadily climbed up the chip ranks during end game putting him in a healthy position once the final table was reached. Coming in with the chip lead was Germany’s “rocksolid03” who fell short and settled for fourth place money of $ 43,866. With three decent stacks left in the game, it was just a matter of time until United Kingdom’s “Kroat” lost momentum and was eliminated.

11 5 WSOPC 4 Fedor Kruse

Down to the heads-up battle, it definitely seemed that “247AS” was in a different zone as he made a key call with pocket threes against opponent’s “Fedor Kruse” bluff with nothing. Up for a nice lead, the match did not take long to end with 247AS finishing the job and taking down the WSOPC Monster Stack Title and a cool profit of $ 134,909.
