Leo Du Boisbaudry wins first ever USOP Hanoi Heads Up Challenge

France’s Leo Du Boisbaudry emerged as the first ever U Series of Poker Hanoi Heads Up Challenge champion! Taking place at the Crown Poker Club, at the final stage, Du Boisbaudry defeated China’s Renji Mao in just over twenty minutes of play. On a board 8c9s6h4d5c,Mao pushed holding 4s4h set only to walk into Du Boisbaudry’s 7d8d straight.

The finals was broadcasted on U Series of Poker YouTube (English) and Crown Poker Club YouTube (Vietnamese).

There was plenty of hype leading up to the Heads Up Challenge with only 32 spots available. These were immediately snatched up. China’s Renji Mao was a late addition when Estonia’s Roland Kivi canceled on the day prior.
