“Jungleman is Coming” to Hong Kong Poker Tour Da Nang from September 19 to 28 at Hoiana Resort & Golf

Just three months after its inaugural event in Korea, the Hong Kong Poker Tour (HKPT) is back for another series and certain to be there is American elite player Daniel Cates aka Jungleman! The pro’s participation was revealed by HKPT several days ago on facebook. Other VIPs are expected and will be announced soon. The upcoming event is set to take place from September 19 to 28, 2023 at Hoiana Resort & Golf in Hoi An, Vietnam, just half an hour from tourist destination Da Nang.

HKPT Vietnam features 26 trophy events over ten thrilling days and a VND 3 Billion (~USD 124,500) guarantee. Buy ins range from VND 2,350,000 (~USD 100) to VND 61,000,000 (~USD 2,570). The highlight is the Main Event which has adapted the Poker Dream format of three different buy ins. The lower end is VND 7,900,000 (~USD 333), the mid-tier is VND 15,800,000 (~USD 666), and the highest is VND 23,700,000 (~USD 1,000). Six entry days are scheduled, each one playing down to a 5%, 10%, or 15% depending on the tier.

HKPT also teams up with Japan Gut Shot and with Poker Dream for two exciting events; two high roller events and Women of Hong Kong tournament also lined up. Make sure to review the schedule below for the details. The player guide will be released soon.
