After more than 10 hours of play, the final table is set for the Championship Event of the WPT Cambodia Passport to the World Championship.

From a starting field of 391 players, only nine remain. All nine are guaranteed at least $10,166, but everyone will have their eyes on the $105,765 top prize and the coveted $10,400 seat to the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas this December.

It will be a special final table, with all nine finalists coming from different countries and representing nine different flags. Only one will rise to the top tomorrow when play resumes at 11:30 AM, with the action continuing until a champion is crowned.

Micheal O'Neill

O’Neill Leads the Final Nine

Leading the way is Micheal O’Neill, who finished the day with a massive 4,680,000. O’Neill steadily built his stack throughout Day 2, putting pressure on his table and leaving several opponents short-stacked.

He also delivered the final elimination of the night, sending Frank Njau to the rail in 10th place after a classic flip. Njau had pocket queens against O’Neill’s ace-king, but an ace on the flop gave O’Neill the lead and sent him into the final nine as the chip leader.

O’Neill already knows what it feels like to go deep at NagaWorld. He finished runner-up in the WPT Cambodia Championship last February, where he recorded the biggest cash of his career. Now, he is back with another shot at the title - and perhaps a little revenge on his mind.

Ari Engel

Engel Climbs From 18 Big Blinds

Right behind O’Neill is Ari Engel with 2,750,000.

Engel started Day 2 with just 18 big blinds but managed to grind his way through the field and steadily build one of the biggest stacks by the end of the night.

One of his biggest moments came when he delivered a huge double knockout, eliminating Linh Tran in 14th place and Michael Falcon in 13th place in the same hand.

Engel called a massive three-way all-in holding king-ten of diamonds against Tran’s pocket aces and Falcon’s two pair. The turn completed Engel’s flush, allowing him to scoop the monster pot and send two dangerous opponents to the rail.

Already boasting more than $10 million in live tournament earnings, Engel is playing his first event at NagaWorld and now has a chance to add another six-figure score to his impressive resume.

Mangalam Seksaria

Seksaria Completes the Podium

Rounding out the top three is Mangalam Seksaria, who bagged 1,980,000.

Seksaria had his share of ups and downs throughout the day but managed to keep his stack healthy and stay near the top of the counts when the dust settled.

Jianfeng Xu - Bubble Boy

Day 2 Action and Bubble

Day 2 began with 61 players returning to the felt, but only 49 would make the money.

The bubble eventually arrived with just 50 players remaining, and after several tense hands, Jianfeng Xu became the sole bubble boy.

Xu, playing his first-ever international poker event, found himself all-in in a three-way pot with ace-five of diamonds. Nathan Gathercole held pocket queens, while Seunghyun Seo had pocket jacks. Gathercole’s queens held through the board, sending Xu to the rail in heartbreaking fashion and guaranteeing the remaining 49 players a payday.

From there, the field continued to shrink until just nine players remained.

Tomorrow, the final nine will return at 11:30 AM to play down until the Championship Event champion is crowned.

With nine different flags represented, a $105,765 top prize waiting, and a $10,400 WPT World Championship seat on the line, there is plenty still to play for.

One of the most memorable hands of the tournament just unfolded, and it ended with two players heading to the rail.

Under the gun, Linh Tran opened to 50,000 before Ari Engel on the button and Michael Falcon in the big blind both called.

The Q♣ 7♦ 4♦ flop brought fireworks. Action checked to Engel, who bet 65,000. Falcon then announced all-in for 675,000, and Tran quickly followed by putting his remaining 640,000 into the middle.

The decision was now on Engel. He burned through three time banks before finally making the call, setting up a massive three-way showdown.

After opening again from the hijack for 40,000, Hendrik Uibo called a three-bet from big blind Min Ho Cho and went to the 6♥ 6♠ 3♥ flop.

Cho checked, but Uibo wasn’t backing down. He called the 80,000 bet before the K♦ landed on the turn.

Cho checked again, and Uibo spotted his opportunity, firing 115,000. That was enough to get the job done as Cho folded his hand.

While Uibo raked in another pot, two players at his table couldn't help but react: “You’re on fire, man!”

And honestly, they’re not wrong. Uibo is absolutely cooking right now.

CJ Lee’s rollercoaster Day 2 run has finally come to an end, with Lee finishing in 22nd place.

Lee had one of the more eventful days on the felt, constantly moving up and down the leaderboard. He managed to rebuild his stack several times after taking some big hits, including recovering from the massive pot where his kings ran into Book Leong Wong’s aces.

But this time, there was no comeback.

Lee found ace-king and got his chips in, only to run straight into Jiaxian Pan’s pocket aces. It was a brutal setup for Lee, who was already facing a huge disadvantage before the board could even run out.

With no help coming his way, Lee’s run came to an end in 22nd place.

Lee continued for 40,000 on the Q♦ J♠ 6♦ flop, and O’Neill called. Lee fired again on the 7♠ turn, this time making it 130,000, and O’Neill once again check-called.

Then came the river, the J♣, and Lee decided to put O’Neill to the ultimate test with a massive 600,000 bet.

O’Neill barely needed a moment before announcing the call.

Lee turned over 5♥ 4♥, having missed his straight draw and turned his hand into a huge bluff. O’Neill had the goods with 6♠ 6♥, making a full house and delivering a massive blow to Lee’s stack.

That pot sends O’Neill straight to the top of the leaderboard and makes him the new chip leader with 29 players remaining.

Linh Tran Leads Final 61 as Championship Event Day 2 Begins

After three starting flights, the WPT Cambodia Passport Championship Event has reached Day 2, with 391 total entries recorded and only 61 players remaining.

The money is now firmly in sight, with 49 players set to cash. That means just 12 eliminations are needed before the field reaches the money and the bubble bursts today.

The event comes with an overlay against the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, adding extra value for the players still in contention. The minimum cash is $2,663, while the eventual champion will take home a massive $105,765.

There are also major prizes beyond the cash. The $10,400 seat to the WPT World Championship is up for grabs, while 1st through 5th place will each receive a $1,100 WPT Prime seat, with both events taking place in December.
