After 7 hours of intense play, the Mini Championship at WPT Cambodia 2026 reached its dramatic conclusion. Day 2 began with 29 players returning to the felt from a total field of 225 entries, all chasing the prestigious WPT trophy and the $58,100 top prize. From the early levels, the action was fast and unforgiving, with short stacks forced into all-in situations and big stacks applying constant pressure.

Multiple flips and domination spots shaped the day as players like Shixiang Khoo, Hao Yang Chen, and William Tjokroprawiro found key double-ups to stay alive, while others saw their tournament runs come to an abrupt end. as the blinds climbed, momentum steadily shifted toward Aleksandr Diudiaev, who began accumulating chips through timely calls and well-chosen aggressive moves.

Mini Championship Final Table

The final table was set with nine players remaining, and the pace only accelerated. Rama Prema entered as the chip leader, but the pressure of the escalating blinds and repeated all-ins quickly reshaped the standings. Erik Rozhynskyi was eliminated in 9th place, followed shortly by Shixiang Khoo in 8th after a long and resilient run finally came to an end.

Prema’s stack dwindled after clashing with Brian Green and Tyler Adams, eventually exiting in 7th place. Rindra Norodom was knocked out in 6th after running into Aleksandr Diudiaev’s pocket kings, while Hao Yang Chen’s aggressive surge ended in 5th place when his pocket nines failed to crack aces.

Brian Green - Runner Up

Tyler Adams fell in 4th after losing a flip against Green, and William Tjokroprawiro’s deep run ended in 3rd place after his pocket sixes were outflopped by Diudiaev’s ace-king. Throughout the final table, Diudiaev controlled the action, winning key pots without showdown and applying relentless pressure, eventually building a dominant chip lead.

Heads Up

Heads-up play began between Aleksandr Diudiaev and Brian Green, with Diudiaev holding a commanding 4-to-1 chip advantage, sitting on 8,900,000 against Green’s 2,350,000. The match was short and decisive.

Mini Championship Day 2 Begins

After two starting flights, the Mini Championship is down to its final stretch as 29 players return today with money already locked up and the title firmly in sight. The $1,100 buy-in event carried a $250,000 guarantee and attracted 225 total entries, resulting in a slight overlay that will be fully covered by Nagaworld and WPT.

Day 1A saw 116 entries trimmed to 15 survivors, while Day 1B added 109 entries with 14 players advancing. All remaining contenders are guaranteed a minimum payout of $2,300, but the real focus is on the $58,100 top prize awaiting the eventual champion.

Erik Rozhynskyi leads the way with 1,346,000 chips, followed closely by Hao Yang Chen with 1,115,000. Both qualified through Day 1A and are the only players to crack the seven-figure mark, building massive stacks during an extended bubble as the blinds climbed sharply. Rounding out the podium is Day 1B chip leader Tyler Adams, who returns with a healthy 880,000.
