Day 1B of the WPT Prime Thailand Exhibition Championship has officially wrapped after another sprint through fifteen turbo-paced levels. Out of a 663-entry field, just 157 players bagged chips by the night’s end, with play paused just before the clock struck midnight.


Action resumes tomorrow at 12:00 PM sharp, running side by side with Day 1C, as survivors return to continue the push toward the ITM line of 83 players.

Jiajun Liu

China’s Jiajun Liu topped the Day 1B counts with 742,000 (124 BB), while Taiwan’s Chi Wei Lo trails closely behind with 604,000 (101 BB), both in prime position heading into the next stage of play.


Among those who managed to survive the initial course include Ouyang Bo (428,000), Vincent Chauve (217,000), Neng Zhao (165,000), Isaac Phua (144,000), and Andrew Leathem (118,000).

Yenwen Chang opened to 10,500 from utg+1 and was immediately met with a shove for 43,000 from Yu Yin Hsien one seat over. In the hijack, Jiajun Liu cold called the all-in, then called again when Chang reshoved for just 45,000 more.
