South Africa's Marc Joseph ended the day atop the leaderboard with a chip count of 747,000 onto Day 2, trailed closely by Luc Ramos with 712,000. Both Joseph and Ramos join the top ranks across the final day battle, just a couple big blinds behind overall chip leader Amin Riyazati's 788,000 stack.

The bubble burst at the eighth hour of play with Daniel Byshell falling one spot shy of the money. Byshell pushed his last 10 BBs in the middle with A♦ J♥ and ran right into Andres Vasquez' A♣ K♦ . Board ran K♣ 5♦ 4♠ J♦ 2♠ , eliminating Byshell as Day 1C's stone cold bubble.
