Sinclair’s AQ Better Than Li’s AQ

Level 14: 3,000 / 5,000 ante: 5,000

WSOP Europe Main Event titlist Jack Sinclair of England is all-in pre-flop for his remaining 42,500 against China’s Victor Li Zhenyu and as the hands are tabled, both show the same hand albeit different suits as Sinclair has A Q while Li tables A Q .

The flop, however, gives the Englishman a slight percentage edge as it comes J 7 8 for the nut flush draw. The turn is the K but then the poker gods extend Sinclair’s tournament life by bringing out the 4 for the nut flush and a much-needed double-up. Li is now crippled with just above 30,000 in chips.
