Artem Vezhenkov opens for 50,000 then tank-folds to Xin Yuan's 325,000 three-bet. On the next hand, Vezhenkov raises again 50,000, Yuan three-bets 400,000 leaving just 50,000 behind, Vezhenkov pushes, Yuan commits the rest then sees the bad news.

Vezhenkov has K♣ K♥ , Yuan needs help with 9♠ 9♥ , the board runs T♦ 6♥ 4♥ 3♠ 7♣ . Yuan falls in 26th place.

In a duel big blind versus under the gun, Ronald Haverkamp checks the A♦ 9♥ 2♣ flop and then calls a bet of 45,000 by Xin Yuan. He does so again for 135,000 on the K♦ turn and they check the A♣ on the river.

Haverkamp shows A♥ T♦ for trips aces and that wins the pot.

Apoorva Goel raises from the cutoff and earns two callers in the blinds including Ronald Haverkamp and Xin Yuan. On the 7♠ 5♣ 2♦ flop, Haverkamp checks and Yuan bets 35,000. Goel raises to 80,000, Haverkamp and Yuan both call.

After the J♥ turn, they check to Goel and his bet of 200,000 takes down the pot uncontested.

Thi Bao An Nguyen is all in under the gun for 460,000 with Q♦ Q♣ , and she needs it to hold to stay alive against the A♥ K♦ of Xin Yuan in the hijack.

The board comes 9♠ 8♥ 2♥ 6♦ A♠ , and Yuan spikes an ace on the river to win the pot and eliminate Nguyen in 37th place.

The second short stack in a row exits from table three. First to go is Amit Kaushik after a torrid second level and Dylan Foster then hits the rail against fellow Aussie Amin Riyazati, who currently leads the Player of the Festival ranking as well.

Foster jams for 105,000 and Riyazati in the big blind has not looked at his cards yet. He peels the first one, which is the K♠ and says "the first one is good". The second card is, too, as it's the K♦ .

Foster has a mountain to climb with J♦ T♦ and Riyazati flops a full house on the A♥ A♠ K♥ 9♦ 4♣ board.

"This is the last thing I want," Riyazati sighs before both embrace and part ways.

Xin Yuan raises under the gun to 25,000, Wonho Lee moves all in from UTG+1 for 65,000, and Yuan calls with A♠ T♠ .

Lee turns over K♦ 9♦ , and needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes A♥ 6♥ 2♦ 3♦ 3♥ , and Lee turns a diamond flush draw, but improves no further. Yuan wins the pot with two pair, aces and threes, to eliminate Lee in 56th place.

Small pot for Sungmin Cho who defends on the big blind then calls Xin Yuan's 17,000 continuation bet on a flop 6♦ 3♥ J♣ . They proceed to check the turn 7♦ and river 6♣ . Cho flips open J♦ 3♦ and claims the pot as Yuan folds.

In three-way action to the K♠ 4♠ 2♣ J♦ T♥ river, Thi Bao An Nguyen bets 65,000 in the big blind. Ankit Ahuja raises to 190,000 from under the gun and Xin Yuan three-bets to 400,000. Nguyen folds and Ahuja jams, Yuan calls.

Nguyen exposes her Q♣ 9♦ for the bottom end of the straight, while Ahuja with A♣ Q♥ and Yuan with A♦ Q♦ both have broadway.

Not long ago, Xin Yuan was down to only 80,000 - ten big blinds in this level. He open raises and earns two callers to then simply push all-in after the Q♦ T♠ 3♦ flop from an early position. Marc Joseph calls all-in for 226,000 in the cutoff and they have to wait for all other tables to finish.

Joseph is ahead with top pair and top kicker but needs to dodge a lot of outs. One of them instantly comes with the T♦ turn to leave Joseph with two queens and two tens as only outs. The river is the A♣ and the bubble bursts.

Xin Yuan opens big at cutoff for 50,000 but on the button is Shalom Elharar who three-bets to 130,000. After the rest fold, Yuan tosses the rest of his chips in and is flipping against Elharar.

With the board running Q♣ Q♠ 7♥ 7♣ 2♣ Yuan bags a reload but not before sweating it.

James Rann puts his hopes on the K♥ Q♠ and is dominated by Xin Yuan with the A♣ Q♣ .

Rann gains some outs on the T♦ 9♦ 3♥ flop but bricks the 3♠ 5♣ on turn and river.
