Heavy Preflop Action Leads To A Split

Level 11: 1,500 / 2,500 ante: 2,500

Preflop action heats up starting with a raise of 8500 by Jeffrey Haas from under the gun. Next to act Jianfeng Sun and Li Kai flat, then button Monika Zukowicz three-bets to 25,000. Haas wants to raise but accidentally calls, Sun four-bets 75,000, two folds follow then Haas says "now I am all in". A♠ he moves it in, Sun tosses in the one chip call.

At the showdown, both players have aces, Sun with A♦ A♣ , Haas A♥ A♠ , the board runs 9♥ 4♣ T♣ Q♦ K♥ for a split pot.

Benny Glaser opens and finds one caller in until Li Kai three-bets 8200. Only Glaser calls and it's off to the flop 3♣ T♥ 3♥ . Kai continues for 7000 and Glaser calls to see the turn 3♦ . Kai barrels 12,000 and this time he wins the pot.

Bastien Joly raises to 1,100 and Li Kai calls. Denis Titenski then squeezes to 3,500 and big stack Kai is the only caller. On the 6♠ 6♣ 3♣ flop, Kai checks and Titenski wins the pot with a bet worth 3,500. He has slightly more than half of the starting stack at his disposal whereas Kai already tripled up.
