Day 1 Wraps: Quan Qiu Leads Final Flight as Mystery Bounty Surpasses Last Year’s Numbers

Level 15: 3,000 / 5,000 ante: 5,000
Quan Qiu

Day 1 of the Won Poker Cup III Mystery Bounty has officially concluded, with Quan Qiu topping the final Day 1C flight. Out of 70 entries, Qiu bagged an impressive 762,000 chips, leading the nine survivors who advanced from this flight.

With Day 1C in the books, the event has now drawn a total of 264 entries, officially surpassing the turnout from last year’s Won Poker Cup II Mystery Bounty.

Day 1C came to a dramatic end as Richard Marquez, a prominent figure in the Asian poker scene, was eliminated as the bubble boy — narrowly missing out on a Day 2 berth.

Across all flights, 34 players have secured their spots for the Final Day. Neng Zhao leads the overall chip count with a towering 1,019,000, followed closely by Quan Qiu. Each finalist is now guaranteed a minimum cash payout of $800, but all eyes are set on reaching the final table, capturing the trophy, and claiming the top prize of $20,301.

The Mystery Bounty element adds an extra layer of excitement, with the top three bounties set at $5,000, $7,000, and a massive $10,000.

The stage is set for a thrilling finale at the Won Majestic Hotel & Casino in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. None of the remaining players will leave empty-handed — but only one will emerge victorious.

Stay tuned as we bring you wall-to-wall coverage of the finale of this high-stakes, adrenaline-charged event.

Lee Dodges Bubble with Timely Full House

Level 15: 3,000 / 5,000 ante: 5,000

During bubble time, Quan Qiu called Suya Lee's all-in from the big blind, putting Lee at risk.

Suya Lee: K J

Quan Qiu: A 7

The board ran out J 2 6 2 2.

Lee paired his jack on the flop and improved to a full house by the river, avoiding the dreaded bubble and securing a much-needed boost to his stack.

Qiu Coolers Li with Full House Over Top Two

Level 15: 3,000 / 5,000 ante: 5,000

Shankui Li opened to 12,000 and picked up two callers — Elvijs Kuceruks on the button and Quan Qiu in the big blind.

With position ceded, Li led out for 16,000 on the flop of K J T, and both opponents called.

He kept up the aggression on the 2 turn, firing again and getting called by both players once more.

Going full throttle on the T river, Li shoved all-in. Kuceruks finally got out of the way, but Qiu snap-called, putting Li at risk.

Li turned over K J for top two pair, but was crushed when Qiu revealed T 2 — a full house, tens full of twos — sending Li to the rail.
