Day 1B
Zheng Runs Into Aces and Into Elimination
Chang Zheng moved all-in from middle position and was swiftly called by button player Titov Oleg, leaving Zheng staring down possible elimination.
Chang Zheng: K♥ 4♥
Titov Oleg: A♦ A♣
The board ran out 9♣ 2♥ T♣ A♥ 9♠, giving Oleg a turned full house. Zheng was drawing dead by the river—just like his tournament hopes, which were unceremoniously snuffed out in the showdown.

Gonzales Crumbles as Zhang Flops Pair
Cheng Zhang opened under the gun to 4,000 and received two callers — Quynh Thai in the lowjack and Minh Tran in the small blind. But Martin Gonzales had other plans, moving all-in for 22,000 from the big blind. Zhang followed it up with an all-in of his own, putting Gonzales at risk. Thai and Tran quickly got out of the way, leaving the two to go to showdown.
Martin Gonzales: A♣ K♠
Cheng Zhang: J♦ T♦
Gonzales was in good shape pre-flop, but the dealer fanned out 7♠ T♣ 6♥, pairing Zhang's ten to take the lead. Still holding hope for one of his overcards to hit, the 4♦ turn and 8♣ river brought no help. Gonzales was eliminated as Zhang raked in the pot.
