Truong crashes out in 15th place.

A semblance of hope appears on the turn as the T♦ to give Truong more outs with a gutshot redraw. However, the river made the Malaysian’s double up official as the K♠ sealed the deal.

While Wong’s stack is back to relevance, Truong’s stack is in grave danger.

Roy Adi Putra once again limps from UTG but this time he gets raised by Erik Rozhynskyi of the Ukraine in the CO to 16,000. Michael Truong of the United States joins in from the BB while Adi Putra elects to call.

The flop is 7♦ 8♣ 2♠ as it gets checked back to Rozhynskyi who CBets it to 18,000. Truong calls but the Indonesian check-raises it to 105,000. Both his opponents exit the hand.

Still smarting from losing a big chunk of his chips to Indonesian Roy Adi Putra, Michael Truong of the United States opens from the +2 position for 6,000 and the action folds to the HJ where a player goes all-in for 90,500. Truong elects to call.

The player at risk has A♠ J♥ while Truong is delighted to be dominating his opponent with A♥ Q♣ .

The flop gave Truong even more reasons to smile: Q♥ 2♣ 8♦ as he hit his Queen, but the turn card shows up as the K♥ , giving his foe four clean outs for a straight. That never happens, though, as the 7♦ completes the board and eliminates the player.

Just when it looked like the chips were dwindling for former chip-leader Roy Adi Putra of Indonesia, he finds himself going all-in on a board of 4♣ A♠ 8♠ J♠ and getting called by Michael Truong of the United States.

The river card is the K♠ which also completes a one-card flush for Adi Putra and a much needed double up to stay in the hunt for a berth on Day 2. Truong’s once formidable stack has dropped down to below average levels.

The flop comes 2♣ 2♦ 9♥ as Truong leads out for 7,500. The calls are made by Radzhari and Adi Putra. The turn is the T♠ and the American is unrelenting as he fires 15,000. Both his pursuers opt to fold

Folowing a similar trajectory to that of Malaysia’s Alex Wong, Michael Truong of the United States has put Thailand’s Chaiwat Prajuabjinda at risk as both are all-in preflop. Truong covers Prajuabjinda.

Zheng flips over 7♥ 7♦ while Truong shows Q♦ Q♠ . The river card is the 9♠ as Truong gets a double up that now gets him hanging with the big stacks towards the twilight of Flight B.

A series of raises and re-raises leads to Michael Truong of the United States having Fendy’s tournament life on the line anew as both as are all-in preflop with the Australian having his last 20,500 in the middle.

Truong shows Q♣ Q♠ totally crushing his opponent’s holdings of 3♥ 3♠

The front end of the runout virtually gave the pot to the American: 8♣ Q♦ 2♥ and had Fendy drawing dead when the turn card produced the K♦ . The K♠ on the river gave Truong a full house he didn’t really need but got the chips he needed from Fendy to continue staying relevant in the competition.
