Zheng Anshu raises from UTG/D to 120,000 and gets called by Tran Cong Huan in the BB.

The flop goes T♥ Q♦ 9♣ as Tran checks. Zheng continues for 120,000 anew but gets check-raised to 250,000. Zheng folds.

That’s two consecutive wins for the Vietnamese player.

There is a raise from UTG to 175,000 and a re-raise all-in from Zheng Anshu on the D. Erik Rozhynskyi of the Ukraine puts his stack of 245,000 in the middle as well. The original raiser folds.

To celebrate the victory, Zheng drew for Rozhynskyi’s bounty and it turns out to be the $5,000 one, The highest still out there.

The dwindling stack of Vietnam’s Tran Cong Huan is now at the center of the table as he shoves from UTG for 455,000. Chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China makes the call from the D.

Tran flips over A♠ 4♠ while Zheng has T♠ T♦ .

The flop gives the Vietnamese player the lead: J♥ A♦ 8♣ while the rest of the runout goes 6♦ 8♦ to have Tran’s stack skyrocket to over a million. Zheng and Jhon Hendri now have more company at the top.

The actions begins with a raise from HJ to 100,000 and a call from Alex Wong on the D. China’s Zheng Anshu goes over the top all-in for 880,000. The original raiser folds but Wong—who barely covers his Chinese opponent—calls.

The runout goes: 4♣ 7♥ T♥ 7♠ T♠ as the Jacks hold for Zheng and the win catapults atop the leaderboard anew while Wong has less than a BB remaining.

The action is folded to the blinds where Zheng Anshu completes his SB and chip-leader Jhon Hendri checks his BB option.

The flop goes Q♥ 5♦ 6♣ as both players check. The turn is the 3♥ and Zheng checks again. This time, Hendri fires 75,000 and gets called. The river is the 6♠ as both players take it to showdown.

With his stack down to less than 20 BBs, Hoang Hai Nam opens from UTG for 260,000 and gets re-raised all-in by Zheng Anshu on the D for his last 380,000. Erik Rozhynskyi joins from the BB and Hoang calls all-in for his remaining 310,000.

Zheng shows 5♥ 5♦ while Rozhynskyi has Q♣ T♣. Hoang is at risk but is ahead with 6♣ 6♦ .

The flop instantly shifted the edge to Zheng: 4♠ K♥ 5♣ as the player from China flops middle set. The turn is the 7♠ and the river is the K♦ as Zheng’s full house knocks out Hoang at 7th and also hits the stack of Rozhynskyi.

Zheng climbs back up to relevance with over a million in chips

Hoang Hai Nam opens from the HJ for 60,000 and gets called by Zheng on the BB defense.

The flop is 2♦ 5♣ T♣ as Zheng checks. Hoang continues betting for another 60,000. Zheng calls. The turn is the Q♥ and Zheng checks anew. Hoang unloads 150,000 and Zheng folds.

Zheng Anshu is now sixth in chips and tries to make something happen by raising from the +1 position for 60,000 but gets re-raised when it gets to Tran Cong Huan to 150,000. Zheng opts to call.

The flop shows 8♦ 7♣ 9♣ as both check. The turn is the 2♠ and no one budges. The river is the 6♦ and they both take it to showdown.

The action is folded to the blinds as Zheng Anshu raises from the SB to 75,000. Chip leader Jhon Hendri defends his BB.

The flop comes 6♥ 8♣ 9♣ as both players check. The turn is the 9♦ as Zheng checks, Hendri bets 100,000 and Zheng releases his hand.

Former chip-leader Zheng Anshu opens from UTG and gets called in the BB by Vietnam’s Huynh Ngoc Thai.

The flop goes Q♣ 4♣ 6♥ as Huynh checks. Zheng bets 50,000 and gets check-raised to 150,000. Zheng folds as Huynh now has more chips.

It didn’t take long for Zheng Anshu to find a new target to stack, but this time he is all-in preflop against Jhon Hendri with the best of it.

The flop suddenly made Zheng uneasy: 7♣ 9♥ T♣ and true enough the Q♣ arrives on the turn to give the Indonesian the nut flush and has Zheng drawing dead holding Aces. The river is the A♥ to compound the Chinese player’s woes.

Hendri surpasses the seven-figure mark for the first time and is the new chip-leader.

There is another change in the chip-leader position as China’s Zheng Anshu locked horns with erstwhile chip-leader Erik Rozhynskyi of the Ukraine.

Folded to the D of Zheng he raises to 50,000 and gets 3-bet by Rozhynskyi on the BB for 175,000. Zheng makes the call.

The flop is 7♥ 3♠ 8♥ as Rozhynskyi opts to check. Zheng grabs the betting as he fires 200,000. Rozhynskyi calls. The Turn is the 4♣ as Rozhynskyi checks again. This time, Zheng shoves his remaining 235,000 and is at risk for the first time in the competition. Rozhynskyi officially puts him at risk with the call.

Zheng flips over J♠ 8♠ for top pair on the flop while Rozhynskyi shows A♣ 3♥ for bottom pair on the flop.

The river is the K♠ and the double up by Zheng puts him past the 1.2 million mark while suddenly the former chip-leader is now on the respirator

Japan’s Masataka Nishada open shoves from the CO for his remaining 165,000 and gets called by Zheng Anshu in the SB.

Nishada turns over K♦ K♠ while Zheng shows a dominated K♣ T♥ .

The runout stayed low: 2♥ 3♦ 6♠ 4♦ Q♣ as the Nishada double up drags Zheng’s stack back into the mud.

Tran Cong Huan open shoves from the HJ for his remaining 260,000 and gets called in the BB by Zheng Anshu.

Tran shows A♣ Q♦ while Zheng has live cards with 9♣ 8♣ .

The flop gave Zheng the lead, but also gave Tran a multitude of outs: K♥ 9♥ J♠ . One of those direct outs arrived on the turn as the Q♥ showed. The river card made the double up official as the 7♣ arrived.

Zheng’s stack looks mortal again.

Raising from the CO, Zheng Anshu makes it 30,000 to go as he gets callers on the D and on the BB of Roy Adi Putra.

The flop comes: 6♣ K♠ 9♦ as Adi Putra checks. Zheng fires 60,000. The caller on the D folds but Adi Putra calls. It is heads up to the turn which shows the Q♦ . Adi Putra checks anew as Zheng barrels again, this time for 125,000. Adi Putra folds.

Zheng near the seven-figures chip mark

Former chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China opens from the D for 30,000 and gets called in the BB by present chip-leader Erik Rozhynskyi.

The flop is Q♥ 5♦ J♠ as Rozhynskyi checks. Zheng CBets to 30,000 anew and Rozhynskyi doesn’t continue in the hand.

New chip-leader Huynh Ngoc Thai of Vietnam has the action folded to him in the CO and makes a raise to 25,000. He gets called in the SB by former overall chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China.

The flop is 6♣ 6♠ K♠ as Zheng checks. Huynh CBets to 16,000 and gets check-raised to 61,000. The Vietnamese player opts to call. The turn is the 8♠ and Zheng is unrelenting, firing another bet of 120,000. Huynh still calls. The river is the 2♥. Zheng now bets 245,000. Huynh still makes the call.

It was the biggest pot thus far and the win not only gives the chip lead back to Zheng, but makes the gentleman from China the first player to breach the seven-figure mark in the tournament.

In a preflop war, the chips of Malaysia’s Heng Kai Perng go to the middle against former chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China as the cards are tabled.

Heng shows 8♦ 8♣ while Zheng has A♠ K♠ .

The first three community cards were safe for Heng: J♣ 4♦ 6♥ . However, the K♦ arrived on the turn and the river of the T♦ officially busts Heng from the competition in 11th place.

Chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China is back to chip-bully ways as he raises from the CO for 25,000 and gets calls from the D and the BB of Vetnam’s Huynh Ngoc Thai.

The flop goes 9♠ 2♦ 7♣ as Huynh checks, so does Zheng. The player on the D leads out for 30,000 and gets called by Huynh. However, Zheng check-raises to 130,000 and player on the D opts to fold. Huynh, though, stays interested and calls. The turn is the 5♠ as once again the Vietnamese player checks. Zheng puts his opponent all-in and Huynh quickly calls.

Zheng shows J♦ J♣ for an over-pair to the board while Huynh flips over 8♣ 6♣ for a straight on the turn and have Zheng drawing dead. The river is the 9♥ to officially have a change atop the leaderboard for the first time today.

Korea’s Jang Sumin pushes his dwindling stack of 26,000 to the middle of the table from UTG as the action folds to the D where chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China 3-bets it to 56,000. Erik Rozhynskyi of the Ukraine calls from the SB.

The flop comes A♠ K♠ 5♦ as Rozhynskyi checks. Zheng CBets to 80,000 and Rozhynskyi still calls. The turn is the T♣ and the Ukrainian checks again. Zheng decides to go all-in and Rozhynskyi chooses to fold.

Jang shows 9♦ 9♥ while Zheng is in the lead with A♣ J♥ . The river card is the 8♦ , sending the Korean to the rail as Zheng picks up steam and more artillery as his stack is now back to over 800,000.

Jang finishes in 13th place.

The action opens from UTG for 20,000 as Malaysia’s Heng Kai Perng makes the call from the HJ. At the D, chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China 3-bets to 65,000 and gets a 4-bet to 165,000 from Ukrainian Erik Rozhynskyi in the SB. Heng stuffs the remainder of his chips in—worth 69,000—as Zheng 5-bet jams. Rozhynskyi folds.

Heng stays afloat while Zheng is somehow still the chip-leader in spite of multiple dents to his stack.

The action begins with a limp from UTG and a raise from the +1 position from Nguyen Quang Huy of Vietnam to 20,000. Chip leader Zheng Anshu calls from the SB and the initial limper joins in as well.

The flop is Q♦ A♠ Q♣ as the action is checked back to Nguyen who continues for another 20,000. Zheng makes the call and the limper folds. It is heads up to the turn which produces the 9♠ as Zheng checks again and this time the Vietnamese player commits more than half his stack by betting 45,000. Zheng check-raises all-in and Nguyen makes the call.

Down to the last two remaining aces in the deck, the J♦ comes on the river to give Nguyen a new lease on his tournament life and reduce Zheng’s chip lead even more.

Zheng Anshu once again opens, this time from UTG for 12,000 and calls from the blinds.

The flop shows 9♣ 2♦ 5♥ as the blinds check it back to the chip-leader who CBets to 22,000. The player in the SB folds but Indonesia’s Jhon Hendri in the BB check-raises all-in for his remaining 72,000. Zheng makes the call.

Hendri flips over 6♦ 6♥ for middle pair while the player from China tables A♠ J♦ for two over cards to the board.

None of those over cards appear as the 9♠ and Q♦ award the pot to Hendri.

Zheng’s stack now goes below 700,000 but he is still the chip-leader.

The action begins when it is raised from the +1 position for 12,000 and gets callers in chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China in the +2 position and Vietnam’s Hoang Hai Nam in the BB.

The flop comes 9♥ 8♠ 5♦ as Hoang and the original raiser check. Zheng takes over the aggression by betting 25,000 which gets a call from Hoang. The original raiser steps aside. It is heads up to the turn that brings in the 4♣ and this time, Zheng and Hoang both check. The river is the A♥ as the Vietnamese player leads out for 10,000 and gets raised by Zheng to 80,000. Hoang tanks but makes the call.

Zheng shows 6♦ 6♣ while Hoang excitedly turns over Q♥ 8♥ for second pair on the flop that held for the win. That was the call of the day, thus far as Hoang climbs to over 350,000 in chips and the chip-leader takes a minor hit to his huge stack.

The flop is T♣ 2♠ 4♣ as the blinds check it back to the raiser who continues firing for 22,000. Vietnam’s Hoang Hai Nam calls from the SB as the BB folds. It is heads up to the that produces the J♦ . Suddenly, Zheng goes all-in and puts the Vietnamese legend in the tank. Hoang squirms in his seat so long that the dealer takes two of his precious Time Bank cards. Hoang ultimately decides to fold, but not before taking a serious dent to his stack which is just barely above the 100,000 mark.

The player who has collected the most bounty envelopes thus far has been the chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China and he has the action folded to him on his SB where he raises it to 9,000. In the BB is Vietnam’s Huu Minh Tri Pham who re-raises all-in for last 91,000. Zheng calls.

Down to a two-outer the player from Vietnam busts when the 2♠ hit the river as the aces get cracked in a bust out and Zheng collects his second scalp and a surge in chips to neat the 700,000 mark.

In a battle of the blinds, chip-leader Zheng Anshu of China raises from the SB to 7,000 and gets 3-bet all-in by Australia’s Danny Huynh. Zheng opts to call.

The flop gave the Korean some hope: J♠ 4♣ Q♠ as an open-ended straight draw became present. However, the turn was the 6♦ and the river was the Q♣ to have Zheng seal Won’s fate with trips.

Lee flips over J♥ 6♥ for top pair on the flop while Zheng shows K♥ J♣ for top pair with a higher kicker on the flop. Needing a six to stay alive, Lee sees the river card is the 9♣ and becomes the first casualty of the day.
