The flop comes 2♣ 6♣ 9♥ to keep Chu ahead, but the turn J♥ reverses them with Tan now ahead with a pair. The river 4♣ gives Chu the flush to stay alive and double up.

Erquiaga shows A♦ 9♦ and asks Chu if he has a king, he does K♠ 6♣ . The river 9♦ gives Erquiaga the flush to double up.

1,200 BB Ante

Short stacked Justin Chi Jen Chu is down to his last 6,200 and three bet shoves with A♥ 9♣ . He is put on the ropes by a player with J♣ 7♣ . When the flop runs 7♦ 4♠ 5♦ , it seems the end for Chu, but the turn 9♠ and river K♦ keep him alive to double up to 16,100.

Following that hand, Chu looks down at pocket Queens and sends them out to battle. He lands another double up with a player’s pocket Eights challenging but unable to improve.
