TMT 17 NLH Master Day 1B concluded with Michael Kim Falcon taking the chip lead heading into Day 2 alongside 44 survivors. With a total of 290 entries, the flight ran through 14 intense levels before the bubble burst. NLH Master Day 2 takes place Wednesday, 15 January at 11:00.

The chip leader Michael Falcon accumulated a massive stack of 784,000 [130 BB] in NLH Master Day 1B. The Danish player who had a stack 48,500 at the beginning of Level 8 managed to stay in the race with some masterful and eliminating several players along the way. Among his knockouts were Bart Wolterink, Jonald Garcia, and Ztu Chun Lin.

Coming in second in chips was Taiwan’s Kai Hung Hu with 496,000 [82BB]. In third rank was is Ci Hong Ho of Taiwan with 404,000 [67BB] . Other notable players also moving on were Sukhum Kiwanont of Thailand and Anton Widjaya of Indonesia.

TMT 17 NLH Master built a total prize pool of TWD 6,822,500 (USD 206,767). 79 combined players from Day 1A (35 survivors) and Day 1B (44 survivors) will be competing for the grand prize of TWD 1,048,500 (USD 31,776) at Day 2.

Hong Yu Huang (BTN) raises 18,000 pre-flop and Che Chun Chu (BB) three-bets all-in with 83,000. Yu Huang calls and the players show their hole cards. Yu Huang held A♥ K♥ while Chun Chu held A♠ T♥ . The players check to showdown. Wen Chen shows Q♥ T♦ while Yu Cheng mucks his hand. Wen Chen claims the pot with two pairs.

Wang Zhi Yu (CO) raises 12,000 and Huang Hong Yu (BTN) three bets 28,000. Zhi Yu calls and the turn puts 4♥ 9♣ 3♦ on the board. Both players check to see the turn Q♦ . With another round of checks the river brings 7♥ . Zhi Yu checks giving Hong Yu the opportunity to bet 30,000. Zhi Yu folds and Hong Yu takes the pot.

Lance De Vera (HJ) raises 10,000 pre-flop and Widjaya Anton (CO) calls to see the flop K♠ TD K♥ . De Vera bets 15,000 while Anton calls to see the turn 3♣ . De Vera bets 20,000 and Anton calls bringing in the river 4♠ . De Vera checks and Anton bets 50,000. De Vera calls and Anton reveals that he held trips kings all along with J♥ K♦ and De Vera mucks his hand.

Sim Eun Jung opened utg and called a 14,000 three bet from Jonald Garcia. Both players checked flop 9♠ 8♥ K♠ through to turn T♣ , where Sim led 10,000. Garcia put in the call but snap folded on river 6♠ after Sim pulled another 20,000.

Ho Sing Wai opened 6,500 utg+1 and was met with a 16,500 three bet from Park Jaehyung behind. Ho answered with an all-in for 96,000 total and left his opponent unable to continue.

Rintaro Wakasugi shoved 69,000 in against Ci Hong Ho's early open and saw Kim Ji Hwan behind make the call. Action back to Ci, he reshoved all-in, pushing Kim out of the pot.

Hu Chung I committed a chunk of his stack on the button and was followed with an all-in from Ho Ka Hou. Hu pushed his entire 131,000 in the middle and was left in pieces after Ho turned over a better pair.

Drawing slim, no hope for Hu arrived on board 9♣ T♦ 4♣ 3♣ 5♠ , knocking him out entirely.

Leem Hangyeol opened on the cutoff and called Justin Geronimo's 35,000 jam from the big blind.

Tung Zung Wu shoved his remaining 32,000 against an open and a call, and faced Kiwanont Sukhum's pocket pair for a flip.

At risk, Tung was left with no worries, having instantly landed the advantage on board Q♠ 4♦ 5♦ 7♠ A♠ to survive through.

Up against an open and a call, Hsu Kai Cheng jammed his last 34,000 on the button and was called by Beng Ker for a flip.

Hsuan Cheng Lai stuffed his 39,000 stack against an Marciel Cerbito's utg open and saw Cho Koang Ho call behind. Cerbito reshoved for 62,000, and Cho called for a three way showdown.

Sukhum Kiwanont (HJ) starts strong with a 20,000 pre-flop raise. The CO calls while Nicholas Go (SB) three-bets all-in 21,000. Kiwanont calls and CO folds. The players enter showdown with Kiwanont holding 9♣ A♣ and Nicholas Go holding 5♦ 5♣ . The board ran J♠ 2♥ 8♠ 9♦ 4♦ giving a surprise victory for Kiwanont on the turn card.

Worawat Kiatponglap (UTG) raises 5,000 pre-flop and San Kang (HJ) hits back with an all-in three-bet of 31,000. Kiatponglap calls with his entire stack of 22,000 and the players enter showdown. CO raises 2,000 pre-flop and Falcon Michael (SB) calls and so does Kai Chun Chen (BB). The flop brings 2♥ 3♥ 4♦ . After a round of checks and the turn brings 7♣ . Michael bets 3,000 while Chun Chen calls and CO folds. The river brings K♥ and Michael bets another 4,000 while prompting Chun Chen to call. In the showdown Michael shows T♣ K♣ while Chun Chen mucks.

Alexander Charron opened to 2,000, called by two players behind. Chen Kuan Yu squeezed to 10,500, and went on to call off his entire 53,500 after Charron moved all-in.

A pocket pair battle, Charron's better queens held high on board 7♥ 8♦ 4♦ 7♣ J♣ , eliminating Chen entirely.
