Just a few hands after in level 18 he dominated Zhengpeng Liu with A♠ 8♥ against Liu's K♦ 8♠ , netting another 152,000 and never looked back.

Being the new table chip leader, he dominated the last two levels with extremely aggressive play, winning a lot of small to medium sized pots preflop with several orbits where he took down half the hands that were played, getting him in a commanding overall chip lead for Day 2 at the moment. His 877,000 will be worth 175BB when the blinds will be scaled back to level 14 at the start of Day 2.

Yang Liu finished with 620,000 (124 BB) and Jiaming Zhao will have 589,000 (118 BB) to his name tomorrow at 12:00.
