Out of a field of 46 entries thus far, only 35 players remain and the man leading the way is none other than Alan "King Lun" Lau. He has nearly quadrupled the stack already while Yitaek Choi, Tetsuya Fujiwara and Konosuke Yoshimura have all departed.

Sungmin Kim was already all-in and at risk preflop, getting called by Yitaek Choi and Xiu Jan. The Q♥ T♥ 8♥ flop saw Choi bet 4,000 into around 14,000 and Jan raised to 10,000. Choi reluctantly called.

They checked the 4♣ turn and Choi check-folded the 6♥ river to a shove. Jan exposed J♦ T♦ for a pair of tens and it was enough to bust Kim, who only held T♣ 9♣ .

According to the tournament screens, there are now 36 players registered for Day 1b and only one of them has been eliminated. Sungmin Kim and Yitaek Choi can be found on table 11, the latter of which busted not far away from the Day 1a bubble last night.

Choi's K♠ 2♠ were ahead versus Q♥ Q♦ and he kept that lead throughout the 8♣ turn and 7♦ river for another double.

Yejin Kim, Jong Hoon Lee and Yohan Trens all limped in. Yitaek Choi then squeezed to 9,500 and was called two ways by Kim and Lee. On the 7♥ 5♥ 5♠ flop, it checked to Choi and he bet 15,000 to win the pot right there.

Towards the end of the last level. Sumin Leem had flopped a set of fours with 4♥ 4♦ on a board of A♣ 4♠ 3♣ 7♥ J♣ to double through the A♠ J♠ of Yitaek Choi and knock out a shorter stack holding J♥ 3♥ . Leem earned another knockout now while Dongmin Kim has taken over the lead from Jong Hoon Lee.

Two shorter stacks get their chips into the middle and they are looked up by Yitaek Choi. One of them is Sungjin Park with the 8♥ 8♣ while the second player at risk tables the T♣ T♦ . They are up against Choi's big slick with A♥ K♦ and the 6♦ 5♣ 3♠ K♣ A♠ runout delivers both the king and ace.

Yohan Trens reraised to 3,200 in the big blind and then called a squeeze to 9,200 by Yitaek Choi from an early position. Trens check-called the J♦ J♠ T♠ flop for 3,300 and they opted to check down the 7♠ turn as well as the T♦ river.

The French player revealed Q♣ Q♥ but Choi had that beat with the A♥ A♠ .
