Woon Gyu Choi was all-in for just 22,000 and Wongyu Seo also got his shorter stack into the middle, both of which were looked up by Pan Geunseop. The latter was ahead preflop and dodged some outs of Choi throughout the T♥ 5♥ 3♦ Q♥ 2♣ board to knock out two opponents.

Fukui Ryoma could not spin up his tiny stack while Yitaek Choi departed after he had started the new level below 15 big blinds. Woon Gyu Choi doubled once more then he had some of his chips in preflop and the last 18,000 after on a K♦ 9♦ 4♣ flop.

Choi's K♠ 2♠ were ahead versus Q♥ Q♦ and he kept that lead throughout the 8♣ turn and 7♦ river for another double.

Down to a severe short stack prior to the break, Woon Gyu Choi was now all-in with the K♣ Q♣ and up against T♣ 5♣ . The board ran out T♦ 9♥ 5♥ 6♥ J♦ and the straight came to the rescue.

Choi then got another shove through to add more precious chips.

Woon Gyu Choi had been nursing a short stack for an extended period prior to the dinner break and that still applies now, but he is still in contention. On a multi-way flop of 7♠ 5♥ 4♦ , he bet 3,500 and all his opponents folded for Choi to collect the pot with a sigh.

Following a min-raise and two callers, Woon Gyu Choi three-bet to 4,000 and Kai Liu was the only caller. On the K♣ J♠ 4♥ flop, Choi bet 1,700 to earn a call and bet another 2,200 on the T♥ turn. Liu now raised to 4,700 for his opponent to call.

Choi checked the K♦ river and reluctantly paid off a bet worth 6,500 by Liu, then mucked his Q♦ Q♠ when Liu showed A♥ Q♣ for broadway.
