Jingon Kim Eliminated by Sungmin Ha

Level 14: 2,000 / 4,000 ante: 4,000
Jingon Kim

Jingon Kim three-bet an open raise to 35,000 and Sungmin Ha in the big blind then moved all-in with the far superior stack size. It folded back to Kim, he pondered about the next move for a few seconds and called all-in for around 140,000.

Kim groaned when he saw the pocket aces on the other side of the table and could not find any help on the J T 7 flop. The A turn increased his outs from two to four, but the Q river was not among them. Ha's lead ballooned further while Kim bowed out in 15th place with ten advancing.

Two Double Ups and a Triple Up

Level 13: 2,000 / 3,000 ante: 3,000

Jingon Kim was all-in for 28,000 with A J against the J J of Sungmin Ha. The board ran out A K 9 K K and Kim doubled.

One hand later, Hyunjeong Kim jammed for 29,000 from under the gun and Youngjeong Kim did so for 40,000. All others folded and Kim won the flip with A Q versus A K on the 6 2 2 3 6 board.

The latter Kim then jammed 11,000 next. Harim Jeong called on the button, as did Kim in the big blind. Both active players checked down the J J 5 6 2 board and the micro stack tripled with 5 3 - which Kim was it? ;)
