After a roller coaster with a shorter stack in the opening three levels, Jihwan Kim moved all-in for the last 28,000 from under the gun and Jaeseok Sim called in the cutoff. The pocket pair dodged a straight draw and counter fit outs on the K♦ Q♦ T♠ Q♥ 9♣ board to end his run on the final three tables for KRW 2.2 Million.

Jin Wook Lee got most of his lost chips back when his A♠ K♦ went up against Jihwan Park with the A♦ 7♣ . The kicker played thanks to the A♣ J♣ 2♠ 2♥ J♦ runout. Park was left short but earned a double himself soon after.

With Hee Woong Kim still not having shown up and in the small blind, Manwoo Park on the button pushed all-in. Jihwan Park called all-in and both players tabled an ace.

The board ran out J♣ T♣ 5♥ K♣ A♦ and the kicker played no role as they chopped it up.

At the same time on two different ables, there were two casualties to bring the field down to the last three tables with 26 remaining.

Jihwan Kim dispatched a short stack with ace-king suited versus K♦ J♣ as the board ran out 8♣ 7♣ 5♠ A♥ 8♦ .

Shortly after, Yoonkyu Choi jammed his short stack with the ace-seven suited and was looked up by Min Hyeong Lee with ace-jack. The kicker played on the A♥ Q♥ 9♣ 3♣ 2♣ board.

Yosuke Itok was all-in for 16,500 and Jihwan Kim called only for Japan's "Vivi" to shove over the top, which Kim called. Itok was at risk with the best pocket pair while Kim's ace-jack flipped against the 7♣ 7♠ of Vivi as well.

The board ran out 5♣ 5♦ 2♣ 3♦ 6♦ and both shorter stacks survived.

A very short-stacked Hyunjeong Kim pushed all-in with nine-seven into a smaller pocket pair by table neighbour Jihwan Kim. She had been eliminated on the Day 1b bubble yesterday and found no escape in this showdown, as the board came A♣ 8♦ 2♣ Q♥ 3♦ to keep the sixes ahead.
