Down to a mere six big blinds and change, Hyunki Lee jammed on the outer table and was called by the table big stack Yoo Young Jin. The K♦ J♦ 6♥ flop brought some groans from the players at the table and there was no escape anymore on the Q♦ turn and Q♥ river.

Lee's short stack ride ended in 14th place for KRW 2.5 Million and he missed out on the pay jump.

The torrid run of Day 1 chip leader Sungmin Ha culminated when he jammed a suited king into the suited ace of Hyunki Lee. The board came Q♣ 8♦ 3♠ 7♥ 4♥ and neither player connected for the ace to play. Ha takes home KRW 2.2 Million.

Takeshi Odawara moved all-in for 70,000 preflop with the A♣ Q♣ and was eventually called by Hyunki Lee in the big blind. The suited king was no match, as Odawara locked up the double on the turn of a A♦ 8♣ 3♦ 2♦ Q♥ board.

Shortly after, short stack Yun Hye Kim bowed out in 28th place.

Down to the last 16,000, Hyunjeong Kim moved all-in from the hijack. She was called three ways by Hyunki Lee on the button, Joo Hee Oh in the small blind and Alan Lau in the big blind.

The three active players checked down the entire board of 9♠ 9♦ 6♥ 3♦ 8♠ and the pocket sevens of Isabelle Group ambassador Oh took down the pot to let the Day 1b bubble burst.

One of the most classic flips unfolded with Harim Jeong all-in and at risk with ace-queen suited. Hyunki Lee looked him up with pocket jacks, which turned a set on the 9♠ 4♠ 2♥ J♠ 8♦ board to reduce the field to the last 15 contenders.
