Soon after losing a portion of his stack, Geunpil Go was sent to the rail when his stack shy of the average moved over one spot to Manwoo Park. It was a classic flip with the K♣ J♥ for Go and the 9♥ 9♦ for Park.

The 6♦ 4♥ 2♠ 9♠ 3♣ board gave Park an unbeatable set on the turn. This was the second elimination in the last few minutes on this table as another short stack had also departed.

Heads-up to the 7♣ 6♠ 5♥ A♦ 7♦ river, chip leader Jaeseok Sim checked in the hijack. Manwoo Park bet 8,000 on the button and Sim tank-called. There was no showdown, as Park mucked to forfeit the pot.

There are currently 27 players remaining and the action slowed down significantly.

Four ways to the T♣ 9♠ 5♥ flop, it checked to Geunpil Go and he bet 2,200. Three players called and the A♠ followed on the turn. It checked to Go again and he bet 8,000. Si-Jin Park reluctantly called with only 5,200 behind, then folded the 2♣ river when Go bet 10,000.

On his third table of the day, Sangjik Lee took on Geunpil Go and checked the 7♠ 6♠ 2♠ Q♥ turn. Go bet 4,300 only to get check-raised to 10,300 total. That sent Go into the tank and he eventually ended up folding, dropping to fewer than half the starting stack.
