At the start of level four, the Day 1C field has already surpassed 100 entries, pushing the overall total for the tournament past the 400-entry mark. The event is rapidly closing in on the 520 entries needed to officially break the KRW 1.8 billion (~USD 1.19 million) guarantee (after subtracting the 10% rake and 4% staff fee).
Among the familiar faces taking their seats this afternoon is Haohui Ma, who is back on the felt and hunting for more chips just twelve hours after his massive victory in the Super U Challenge.

Ma’s run yesterday was nothing short of legendary. During four-handed play at the final table, he found himself in a wild three-way all-in holding pocket deuces against pocket aces and ace-queen. Ma defied the odds, hitting a two-outer on the flop to hit a set and score a spectacular double knockout that paved his way to the title.

The action resumes today as the third opening flight, Day 1C, of the KRW 4,000,000 (~USD 2,640) buy-in Red Dragon Plus Championship is locked and loaded to kick off at 12:00 PM local time here at the LES A Casino.
So far, a total of 299 entries have turned out across the first two flights, with 96 players successfully stamping their tickets to Day 2.
The field taking the felt this afternoon will face the exact same structure as the previous flights: 10 levels of play, deep stacks, and plenty of room to maneuver.
Day 1B kept the momentum going strong yesterday, attracting 136 entries and wrapping up with 42 survivors bagging up for the night.
Zicong Jiang set the pace for that flight with a massive 648,000 in chips, while defending champion Jieming Xu isn't far behind after bagging a monster 567,500 stack. They will all be chasing Day 1A chip leader Yawei Deng, who still holds the clubhouse lead with a mountain of 900,000 chips.
For anyone who hit the rail during the first two flights or chose to wait out the early action, today offers the perfect fresh start. Only two flights remain on the schedule before the fields merge, and late registration stays open all the way through the first two levels of Day 2.
Updates will continue throughout the day covering key chip movements, big hands, and eliminations straight from the tournament floor once cards get in the air.
