The action resumes today as the second opening flight, Day 1B, of the KRW 4,000,000 (~USD 2,640) buy-in Red Dragon Plus Championship has officially kicked off at 12:00 PM local time.
The field taking the felt this afternoon will face the exact same structure as the opening flight: 10 levels of play, deep stacks, and plenty of room to maneuver.
Day 1A set a high bar for the tournament, attracting a strong crowd of 163 entries. By the time the final bags came out at the end of the night, only 54 players successfully punched a ticket to Day 2, led by Yawei Deng’s massive 900,000-chip stack.
For anyone eliminated during yesterday’s action or opting to skip the opening flight entirely, today offers a fresh start. Three opening flights remain on the schedule over today and tomorrow, and late registration stays open through the first two levels of Day 2.
