Local player Edgar Asehan bagged the lead of 659,000 which was much larger than his first stack of 71,000 which will be removed from play coming Day 2. At Asehan's heels was Ho-Tai Tsai who enjoyed a rush with back to back aces both getting value with knockouts. Tsai finished the flight with 623,000.
