First Ever Champion Hernan Jaybee Villa Tops Flight B

The PokerStars LIVE. Okada Manila Millions concluded the second flight of its flagship Okada Millions with 171 signing up across 10 levels of registration. When the bubble burst, the final 21 ITM players were determined. With the field populated by locals, the survivors list was no different with Hernan Jaybee Villa at the top of the counts. Villa was the first ever champion of this event and is well on his way for a repeat. He bagged up 523,000 (52 bb).
Also finding success was WSOP bracelet winner Mike Takayama with 324,000 (32 bb), Okada Micro champion Rene Mar David with 170,000 (17 bb), Karen Talamayan with 147,000 (14 bb), and up and coming player Michael Calunsod with 161,000 (16 bb).

One of the most dramatic moments had to be the rise of Jay Padilla from just 1 bb. He won three consecutive hands and eventually bagged up 123,000 (12 bb).
The survivors have a couple of days off before returning for Day 2 on April 13, 2025 at 1pm. While waiting, there are ample single day side events on tap for some practice or enjoy the cash games, all taking place at the PokerStars LIVE hub at Okada Manila in Manila, Philippines.

On a limped pot with the flop checked, three players go to the turn board Kā£ 2ā£ Kā„ Aā¦ where chips begin to fly. Big blind bets 8000, cutoff Robin Andrews calls, then small blind Joey Pardales check-raises 22,000. Only Andrews continues to the river Jā„ . Pardales fires 35,000, and this time he wins the pot without further challenge.
