From UTG, Korea’s Moon Kyung Ho shoves his remaining stack of 90,000 and it folds to the SB where Leon Steward of Florida calls.

However, the Korean takes the lead on the flop: T♥ 3♥ K♦ and there was no recovery in sight in the last two community cards as the 5♣ and the 8♣ complete the double up for Moon.

The action folds to Ireland’s Patrick Noonan who open shoves his last 24,000. In the BB, big stack Leon Steward of Florida makes the call.

Noonan turns over Q♠ 7♠ while Steward has live cards (and suits) with 9♥ 8♥ .

The flop gives Steward the edge: J♣ 8♠ 7♦ while the turn brings in the 4♣ . The river is the 8♣ to give the American trips and sends the Irishman to the sidelines for good at 14th place.

The Philippines’ Joey Pardales opens from the D for 24,000 and gets a call from Leon Steward of Florida in the SB. In the BB, England’s William Rogers 3-bets the duo to 60,000 as Pardales folds but Steward makes the call.

The flop is Q♥ T♠ T♣ as Steward checks. Rogers continues for 40,000 but is check-raised all-in by the American. Rogers folds and Steward flips over A♣ 7♣ as he collects the pot.

Steward successfully wields his massive stack.

From the +1 position, Katsuhito Kawai of Japan shoves his newly acquired chips of 66,000 and it folds to the D where Florida's Leon Steward makes the call.

The flop is 3♣ 2♦ 2♣ as Pardales checks. Steward bets 20,000 as Jong calls but Pardales comes in for a check-raise to 48,000. Steward calls but Jong folds. It is Heads Up to the turn for the side pot as the 9♥ arrives. Pardales goes all-in for his last 50,000 and Steward makes the call.

Pardales turns over 8♣ 8♦ while Steward needs help on the river as he tables A♥ 3♦ for a lower two pair.

The river card is the T♥ as the huge side pot is awarded to the Filipino.
