The flop, though, changes the story: K♠ J♠ Q♥ as Huang flops two pairs but Dhingra also hits his queen and picks up additional out with a gutshot straight draw. The turn is the 9♣ while the river card is the 7♣ to give the victory to Huang.

The runout goes Q♦ 8♦ 6♥ A♠ 5♣ as Huang gets more artillery and Dhingra falls below the two million mark for the first time in a few orbits.

Japan’s Keita Kitamura open shoves from the HJ for his last 165,000 and it folds to the SB where Daryl O’Rourke of Ireland also goes all-in for his remaining stack of 330,000. In the BB, chip leader Arjun Dhingra of India decides to makes the call.

Kitamura turns over A♦ J♥ , O’Rourke shows T♥ T♣ while Dhingra has A♥ Q♠ .

The flop is A♣ Q♥ 8♠ to give the Indian a near insurmountable lead over the two players at risk. The turn is the K♦ to give both a sliver of hope with redraws to a similar straight but the river card is the 9♦ as Dhingra eliminates two players in one swift blow and suddenly there are only four players remaining.

Kitamura finishes in sixth place for PhP36,500 (~US$655) while O’Rourke is out in fifth for PhP48,000 (~US$860).

The four remaining combatants are guaranteed PhP62,000 (~US$1,110).

Korea’s Moon Kyung Ho goes all-in from the +1 position for his last 90,000 and the action folds to the SB where chip leader Arjun Dhingra of India isolates by re-raising all-in.

Moon shows A♠ Q♠ but his opponent unfurls A♦ A♣ .

The runout goes K♥ 6♠ 3♥ 7♣ 3♠ as the Korean exits in seventh place.

The six players left are now guaranteed PhP36,500 (~US$655).

The actions gets folded to the HJ where Joey Pardales of the Philippines goes all-in for his remaining 230,000 and gets called in the BB by chip leader Arjun Dhingra of India.

Pardales turns over A♠ 3♥ while Dhingra has 7♥ 7♠ .

The flop comes A♦ 4♠ 5♠ to give the Filipino the lead. The turn is the Q♠ to even bring in the nut flush redraw for Pardales. However, the river card is the 7♦ to give the Indian a set and send his opponent out of the tournament.

There are now seven players left, all assured PhP30,000 (~US$535).

With eight players remaining, the action gets folded to chip leader Arjun Dhingra of India and he raises it to 60,000 from the HJ. Korea’s Moon Kyung Ho makes the call from the SB.

The flop comes T♦ K♦ 6♠ as Moon checks. Dhingra CBets for 55,000 and gets called. The turn is the 5♦ as again the Korean checks. Now, Dhingra puts a out a massive bet of 500,000. Moon gets the message and folds.

Dhingra’s stack now approaches the one million mark.

With his stack dwindling, William Rogers of England pushes all-in from UTG and the action folds all the way to the BB of India’s Arjun Dhingra who makes the call.

Rogers tables 7♠ 6♥ while Dhingra shows J♠ J♥ .

The flop gave the Englishman a semblance of hope: 8♣ 7♦ 3♠ and more outs arrive on the turn as the T♠ appears. However, the river card is the 4♥ to end Rogers’ campaign in tenth place as the Final Table is now set.

The action folds to Arjun Dhingra of India who raises from the D to 40,000. In the SB, Korea’s Jeong Seonghun is down to his last 41,000 and he chooses to commit it to the pot. Edison Yu of the Philippines calls from the BB and Dhingra puts in the additional 1,000 chip.

The flop is J♦ T♠ 8♦ as both players check. The turn is the 7♠ as Yu checks again and this time, the Indian bets 50,000. Yu folds.

Jeong turns over A♦ 5♣ while Dhingra already has a completed straight with 9♣ 8♥ .

The river card is the 3♦ to make the Korean’s ouster official at 11th place.

In blind versus blind action, China’s Huang Ting yen raises it to 40,000 and gets a defense from Arjun Dhingra of India.

The flop comes Q♥ 6♠ A♠ as Huang fires 24,000. Dhingra calls. The turn is the J♥ and this time, the Chinese player makes it 65,000 to go. Dhingra sticks around. The river is the 5♣ as Huang now empties the clip for his last 169,000. The Indian goes into the tanl and is forced to burn his final timebank card before opting to fold.

Huang now nears the half million mark with his aggressive take down.

The action is folded to the blinds where India’s Arjun Dhingra sees his opponent’s stack and raises it to 25,000. That’s exactly what Son Changnam of Korea is left with and it now goes into the pot.

Dhingra tables 5♠ 3♣ but is crushed by Son’s A♣ 3♥ .

The first three community cards arrive: 7♥ 4♠ Q♥ as instantly everyone notices that the Indian has a gutshot straight draw. The gutshot hits on the turn as the 6♣ shows up. A♠ if to add insult to injury, the 6♥ completes the runout.

Son is out in 17th place and Dhingra moves into the big stack conversation.
