Taeil Ahn opened to 25,000 from under the gun and received calls from a player in the small blind and Patrick Barnay in the big blind. The flop came 8♦ 9♥ 4♠ . The small blind checked, Barnay shoved for 80,000, Ahn used one time bank before calling with a covering stack and the small blind folded.

Barnay was in great shape to double with top pair against Barney who had ace-high and only backdoor draws. The rest of the board ran out 8♠ A♥ giving Ahn two pair, aces and eights to eliminate Barnay and take the pot.
