Jaybee Hernan Villa opened to 4,000 from early position, Akihide Ejiri shoved for 90,500 from the small blind and Villa called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Ejiri got the best of the preflop flip when the A♠ 6♠ 4♦ J♠ 7♣ runout gave him top pair to double up.

Nakayama Nobuaki opened to 3,000 from the hijack and Ejiri Akihide defended from the big blind. The flop came Ls 9♦ 8♠ and Akihide check-called a 2,000 bet from Nobuaki.

Akihide checked the Q♣ turn, Nobuaki bet 7,000, Akihide shoved for 26,000 and Nobuaki folded.

With three players seeing a board of ah K♠ 3♥ and 5,400 in the middle Akihide Ejiri checked from the big blind, Carl Quebec checked from early position and Hyunseong Kim bet 1,500 from the hijack. Both opponents called.

Kim continued for 3,500 when checked to on the 5♠ turn and this time only Quebec called. Both players then checked the 8♦ river.

Both players had top pair. Quebec tabled A♠ 5♠ but Kim had him beat with A♣ Q♦ to win the pot.
