With two players seeing a board of 7♦ 5♥ A♦ and 19,600 in the middle Zhong Xun Hsu bet 8,200 from the small blind and Edgar Asehan raised to 18,000 from early position, receiving a call from Hsu. Asehan shoved on the K♣ turn and Xun folded.

Battulga was dominated and after finding no help on the 5♠ K♦ 8♥ A♣ A♥ runout he was sent to the rail while Hsu collected the last of his chips.

Hsu was in rough shape with just one overcard to Ganbold’s pocket jacks but he hit his king on the runout to double up through Ganbold.

The flop came 2♣ 2♥ A♦ . The small blind checked, Hsu bet 800, Lee called and the small blind folded. Hsu check-called a 1,800 bet from Lee on the 3♦ turn. On the 3♠ river Hsu check-called another bet from Lee, this time for 8,000.

Lee was playing the board with K♥ 7♦ while Hsu had two pair, aces and threes with A♠ J♣ to win the pot.

With three players seeing a board of 9♣ 4♦ 4♣ and 3,700 in the middle Nikolai Babushkin bet 1,000 from the small blind and Zhong Xun Hsu called from the button.

On the 9♠ turn Babushkin checked and Hsu bet 3,500. Babushkin called.

Hsu bet 15,000 when checked to on the Q♦ river, leaving 7,200 behind. Babushkin moved all in with a slightly covering stack and Hsu called, putting his tournament life at risk.

Hsu had Q♠ T♣ for two pair, queens and nines. Babushkin showed A♦ 9♦ for nines full of fours to eliminate Hsu and drag in a sizable early pot.
