Lenart Ecarma opened to 13,000 from under the gun and Akihiro Yamada defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the 7♥ 2♦ 6♠ leading to the Q♠ turn. Yamada checked, Ecarma bet 35,000 and Yamada called.

Ecarma shoved for 40,000 when checked to on the 4♥ river and Yamada called again. Yamada had a pair with T♠ 7♠ but Ecarma had top two pair with A♥ Q♣ to double up on the bubble.

Akihiro Yamada opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Tamon Nakamura defended from the big blind.

The flop came 2♠ Q♣ 7♦ and Yamada check-called a 4,000 bet from Nakamura.

Both players checked the Q♦ turn leading to the J♥ river. Nakamura bet 18,000, Yamada raised to 50,000 and Nakamura tank-called.

Yamada turned over a full house with Q♠ J♣ and Nakamura’s hand hit the muck.

Marvin Cerbito opened to 1,500 from the cutoff, Akihiro Yamada called in the small blind and a player called in the big blind.

The flop came J♠ Q♥ 8♦ and action checked around to Cerbito who bet 2,500. Yamada called while the big blind got out of the way.

Yamada check-called another bet from Cerbito on the 5♥ turn, this time for 5,200.

On the 2♣ river Yamada led out with a 6,200 bet that Cerbito called. Yamada immediately mucked his hand and Cerbito took the pot without having to show his hole cards.

Tsai had top pair and a flush draw while Yamada was ahead with the nut-straight. The 5♠ river changed nothing and Tsai was sent to the rail courtesy of Yamada who took the pot.
