Manila Super Series 21 Main Event Flight B Chip Leader

The second of four starting flights has ended in the Manila Super Series ₱18,500 Main Event here at Okada Manila. Flight B featured 141 entrants and by the end of the night only 21 players managed to find a bag and advance to Day 2.


Rancy Cyril Lee finished the night with the chip lead after bagging 804,000. Lee went on a late-night heater and applied relentless aggression on the bubble en route to bagging the largest stack. Lee is most closely followed by JC Mariano (595,000) while Tamon Nakamura rounds out the top three with 387,000.


There are still two more starting flights to go. Flight C takes place tomorrow at noon while later that evening the final flight, featuring a turbo structure, will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Flight B of Mainla Super Series 21 Main Event Kicks Off at Noon

The Manila Super Series 21 Main Event continues today with Flight B, starting at noon local time at Okada Manila, Philippines.


David Erquiaga set the bar at yesterday’s flight A with the chip lead at 433,000. Other big stacks from Flight A include Patrick Wahlquist (371,000) and Alex Gelev (358,000).


Flight B features the same structure as yesterday’s Flight A. Players start with 30,000 chips and there are unlimited re-entries permitted during the late registrion period which ends at the start of Level 11.


Those who fail to find a bag at the end of Flight B will still have two more starting flights to take their shot. Flight C takes place tomorrow at noon while the final flight, featuring a turbo structure, takes place later that evening at 6:00 p.m.
