Up against an open and a call, James Dela Cruz shot out a raise to 370,000 on the small blind and saw initial raiser Renniel Galvez flick in his last 190,000.

Galvez dominated, found no hope on board 9♥ 9♣ Q♠ 9♠ 8♠ , ending his Main Event run entirely.

The fierce battle for the Manila Megastack 22 Main Event crown continues to be in play with its 652-entry field down to the final two tables. Each remaining contender is now guaranteed PHP 220,000 in winnings and a fighting chance to claim the PHP 4,820,000 top prize.

Miyamoto led for 55,000, check called by Galvez onto river 6♥ . Miyamoto barreled again for a final 100,000, and was looked up once more by his opponent, exposing his bluff Q♥ T♠ . Galvez showed ace-high A♦ T♦ , enough to win the pot.

Renniel Galvez opened 10,000 early position and was joined by Farboud Feridoun on the button.

On flop 6♥ 8♠ 6♣ , Galvez continued for 7,500, raised by Feridoun to 15,000. Galvez came back for a bigger 45,000, pushing Feridoun out of the action completely.
