Beating a field of 87 after 17 levels of play, Jester Intia tops the 13 remaining qualifiers for Day 2 with a stack of 368,000. His rise to the top started on level 12 by busting Vivencio Nachor Jr., Prolan Fandialan, Guillaume Lafont and Christian Lortie in quick succession and ended with a last minute knockout of Alan Yap in 15th place.

Uesugi Ichiro finished the day in a close second, bagging 347,000 after staying among the leaders since registration closed, eliminating local boy David Lennard Ang along the way.

Florencio Campomanes had a roller coaster ending to the day, busting Marc Gagne going into level 17, followed by losing a big flip against Edgar Asehan before getting back up by eliminating Aso Seitaro on the bubble, leaving the No.4 on the Philippine's all time money list with 295,000.

Two more flights on Saturday at 1pm and 6pm have the chance of breaking the PHP 3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool before the remaining qualifiers duke it out on Day 2 at 1pm on Sunday until a winner is determined.

Under the gun Jester Intia raises to 12,000 and small blind Sasaki Seiji tags along to the flop 4♣ 6♦ K♠ that gets checked around to the turn A♦ where Intia forks out a 13,000 delayed c-bet and Sasaki calls. The river 6♥ gets rejected by both players, having Intia come out on top with A♠ 7♥ against Sasaki's T♣ T♠ .

With 18 players left and 13 spots qualifying for Day 2 the Chip Counts are as follows:

Picking up the action on another river J♣ 7♣ 7♠ 3♠ 6♣ and 40,000 up for grabs, big blind Sasaki Seiji leads 23,000, Park Jeongmin ups it to 80,000 and sends Sasaki in the tank before he announces all-in for 124,500 with a boat 3♥ 3♦ . Park calls with A♣ K♣ flush, granting Sasaki one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far.

Picking up the action on 2♦ 9♣ 4♦ and 18,000 in the middle, Sasaki Seiji leads 6,500 from under the gun and Yoo Gyeong Tae calls to see the flop K♣ . Another 13,000 lead gets called for the board to complete 2♣ where a triple barrel jam from Sasaki goes unanswered.
