Following eight hours of play, Kirill Gladchenko tops Flight B bringing in a 458,000 chip count into Day 2. Gladchenko built a stack after doubling up with pocket kings late in the game and continued to play aggressively to land the top spot. 22 other players join the Russian runner including local pros Christopher Mateo, Michael Kim Enriquez, and Bonifacio Mondalo.

A raised pot, Jose Colada bet jam all-in for 76,000 with K♠ Q♦ on flop Q♠ 5♦ 8♠ and ran right into Joseph Talamayan’s better A♠ Q♥ . No king on either turn 6♠ or river 9♣ meant Colada is knocked out from the tournament one spot short of the money.

On to another table, hijack Lee Suya open shoved 81,000 in with 7♣ 7♠ and was quickly called by big blind Bonifacio Mondalo with A♥ A♠ . Bonifacio cruised through board Q♦ K♠ T♣ Q♣ 2♦ and collected the pot whilst eliminating Lee from the Main Event games.

Button Kirill Gladchenko opened to 10,000, called by big blind Okamoto Shuhei. Flop came K♦ J♦ 4♦ and saw Okamoto check call an 8,000 bet. Kirill fired a bigger 33,000 on turn 5♥ and shortly collected a fold from his opponent. Kirill shows 8♠ 2♣ for a bluff right on bubble time.

Facing an utg open, Philip Reyes stuffed his 55,000 stack in with A♣ J♣ and faced big blind Matsuda Michihiko’s J♠ J♦ . Gunning for an ace, the nine high board 7♥ 6♣ 9♠ 7♣ 2♦ was unable to save Reyes from elimination, leaving Matsuda’s pocket jacks for the win.

Button John Philip Baider shoved all-in for 76,000 after the hijack opened and was called by big blind John Dela Cruz.

A terrible spot for Baider, the board 2♥ 2♠ J♠ 8♥ T♥ sealed his elimination and earned Dela Cruz a 20 BB boost to his already healthy stack.

Christopher Mateo called a 9,000 cutoff open from Matsuda Michihiko and headed to flop J♠ 7♠ T♣ . Mateo bet all-in for 24,000 and claimed the pot shortly after Matsuda threw in the fold.

Noel Araniel defended his big blind vs utg+1 Karen Talamayan’s 15,000 open and saw flop 2♣ 6♣ Q♦ . Checked to Talamayan, she continued for 10,000 and shortly folded after Araniel put in a raise to 27,000.

Utg Angeles Antonio opened to 8,000 and was met with an all-in from Jacky Ho for 58,000 total. Edilberto Gopez makes the call behind with Angeles joining in for his remaining 49,000.

Midposition open saw small blind Chzhen Evgenii fire a three bet to 22,000. Big blind John Dela Cruz clicked back to 43,000 and left only Chzhen completing the raise. Flop 2♣ J♦ 9♥ saw both stacks pile in, Dela Cruz ahead with A♣ A♥ against Chzhen’s Q♥ Q♦ . The turn 9♠ and river T♥ ran safe for Dela Cruz, shipping him the 75 BB pot.

Hijack Jessie Leonarez opened to 6,000 with J♥ J♦ and called off Kirill Gladchenko’s 38,000 all-in. Kirill is ahead with K♣ K♠ and remained a favorite all the way to the river K♥ T♣ 8♠ 7♣ Q♣ for a quick double.

Action was checked round and headed to turn 7♣ . Angeles this time, bet 12,000, called by Gopez behind. River came 4♣ and Angeles check folded after Gopez fired a hefty 80,000 river bet. Gopez shows Q♣ and rakes in the pot.

Utg Natsagdorj Munkh opened to 5,000 and called a three bet to 15,000 from Chogo Kento. Flop came A♠ J♣ 6♣ and saw Natsagdorj check call all-in for his remaining 35,000.

Hijack William Ysmael opened to 5,000 and was met with a 15,000 three bet behind from Harish Asnani. Ysmael clapped back with an all-in, leaving Harish to call off for his 67,000 stack.

Hijack opened to 5,000 and was met with two all-ins from small blind Fisher Obrien Robbie (44,500) and big blind Jaime Ramon Reyes. Original raiser gets out of the way and the two showdown a flip.

Flop came 5♦ 8♣ 9♥ and saw Enriquez check raise to 22,000. Wallac continues and heads to turn 8♥ . Enriquez this time led for 15,000 and snap called after Wallac moved all-in.

Turn J♦ was checked through, leading to river A♣ . Sung led for 2,500, Aihara with a call, and a raise to 18,000 from Chzhen. Both opponents fold and Chzhen claims the pot.
