Mystery Bounty - ₱2 million GTD

Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Starting the action with a 440,000 open-jam from the button holding A♦ J♣ , Francisco Sanchez watches on as SB Michael Cerbito wagers his last 1,000,000 with A♣ 9♠ and the chip leader Jeffrey Ponce finding a call with K♥ T♥ . Having a flight to catch, the dealer conjures up 3♠ K♦ 8♦ 4♠ 9♣ to end the tournament and hand over the trophy to Jeffrey Ponce.

Trying to put his newly acquired chips to good use, Francisco Sanchez announces all-in for 2,300,000 with A♣ 3♠ from the button just to find out he is a huge underdog against Jeffrey Ponce calling his last 1,800,000 with A♠ J♥ . Both players missing the board K♠ 6♠ 4♣ 9♥ T♣ completely has Jeffrey Ponce running away with a commanding chip lead.

First to act, Jeffrey Ponce announces all-in with A♥ 9♣ and gets called by SB Francisco Sanchez for his remaining 1,100,000 holding A♣ K♠ . Sanchez stays ahead on Q♥ J♦ K♥ J♣ A♦ and goes back into the lead.

After a short discussion the players agree to a deal, splitting the remaining prize pool with P360,000 going to chip leader Jeffrey Ponce, P282,500 for Michael Cerbito and Francisco Sanchez taking home 267,500.

Two hands later, the protagonists from the last update go at it again. This time Jeffrey Ponce kicks off the action with a 135,000 raise from BU with A♦ J♦ and a quick call after SB Michael De Leon announces all-in for 1,000,000 with A♠ 2♥ . No ducks come flying by on the board 3♥ K♥ 6♦ 7♥ K♦ and Michael De Leon's run comes to an end.

A 100,000 min-raise from UTG Michael De Leon has BB Jeffrey Ponce defend to lay his eyes on 3♦ 6♦ 5♦ . No action reveals the 2♦ turn with De Leon sliding 60,000 over the line and a quick call completes the board J♣ . Both players keen to show their cards, Jeffrey Ponce comes out on top with 7♦ 7♥ against a muck.

Francisco Sanchez mounts a steal of 635,000 from the button with A♥ 3♦ and BB Mark Hebron defends with his last 505,000 holding K♣ J♣ . The dealer keeps it interesting until the river Q♠ A♦ 4♥ 5♦ 9♥ but sends the underdog packing all the same.

With a large 200,000 raise from UTG, Jeffrey Ponce takes CO and BB on a costly trip to see the flop A♦ 5♠ K♣ . Checked to Michael De Leon in the cut-off 150,000 go over the line with no takers.

Michael Cerbito kicks off the action with an 100,000 open to take BB Francisco Sanchez to the flop A♦ 3♠ K♠ . A 75,000 c-bet gets called to reveal the turn 6♥ where another continuation of 200,000 is enough for Michael Cerbito to take it down.

Looking down at A♣ Q♣ it is now or never for UTG William Kang to jam his remaining 300,000. Unfortunately for him, Francisco Sanchez wakes up with Q♥ Q♠ in the big blind and the dealer cant find an ace on 4♥ 6♥ K♥ T♣ Q♦ thereby ending William Kang's deep run.

Mark Hebron limps his SB and Jeffrey Ponce waves his option to see the flop 5♦ 3♠ T♠ that gets checked all the way to the river 8♥ T♣ where Jeffrey Ponce tries to steal with a 50,000 lead in position holding 7♣ 6♥ , but Mark Hebron is having none of it with J♥ 5♥ to scoop up a tiny pot.

With a 100,000 open from CO, Jeffrey Ponce takes BU Michael De Leon to the flop T♣ T♥ 7♠ that gets checked to the turn 2♣ . A delayed c-bet of 75,000 and a call deliver the A♥ river. Switching to a check, Jeffrey Ponce induces a 210,000 bluff by Michael De Leon with a missed straight draw 9♥ 8♥ and scoops up the pot holding A♦ 8♣ .

Folded to him in the small blind, Mark Hebron announces all-in for 405,000 with A♣ 5♣ and chip leader Michael De Leon goes bounty hunting holding Q♥ 7♥ . The dealer completes the board J♠ 4♠ 8♣ 9♠ 2♦ for ace-high to come out on top.

Michael Cerbito initiates the action with a 60,000 raise from UTG and SB Francisco Sanchez defends to see the flop 6♥ T♥ T♦ for a friendly check-check to the turn 8♠ . Francisco Sanchez decides to lead 100,000, but has to fork out some more when the pre flop aggressor pumps it to 250,000 to make it to the river 7♣ . Putting Michael Cerbito all-in for 270,000 with A♣ 8♣ , Francisco Sanchez has to surrender a massive pot to his opponent flipping over A♥ T♣ .

Open-jamming 300,000 from HJ with A♠ K♣ , Ryan Tan enters a flip needing to hit against Michael De Leon with Q♠ Q♦ in the big blind. No help for big slick on 2♣ 4♠ 4♦ 5♦ 7♦ and the field is down to 6.

Kicking off the action with a 60,000 raise from +1, Jeffrey Ponce is faced with a 155,000 three-bet from BU Ryan Tan. After some consideration, Jeffrey Ponce announces all-in to take down the pot uncontested.

Jamming 155,000 from +1 with A♠ 6♣ , Mark Hebron's tournament life is at risk when HJ Michael De Leon calls with A♦ 3♦ . The dealer improves both players with 6♦ 3♣ 7♦ Q♣ 5♣ , but still hands the pot to Mark Hebron for a much needed double up.

Starting off with a 180,000 jam from BU Alvarez Janno holding K♦ Q♥ and a call from big stack Michael De Leon with A♥ T♣ the dealer ends another player's hopes by hitting the felt with J♠ 3♣ A♦ 8♣ 9♠ to take us down to 9 players getting set up for the final table.

In the next hand Francisco Sanchez defends his SB against a 30,000 open from CO Michael Cerbito to see the flop T♥ 9♠ 6♦ . Check-calling a further 50,000 for the turn T♦ , Francisco Sanchez lets it go when faced with another 70,000 bet.

Folded to Jose Colada in SB we hear all-in for 320,000 holding A♦ T♦ to dominate BB Francisco Sanchez's call with K♠ T♥ . The dealer tables J♦ K♥ A♥ 3♣ and takes the room into a frenzy by completing the board with the K♣ to send Jose Colada packing.

Hayashi Hiroki initiates his last hand with a 40,000 open from the button to take both blinds to the flop K♥ 7♥ 5♠ . Checked to him we see a 25,000 c-bet followed by a fold and a raise to 50,000 from BB Michael Cerbito the dealer reveals the 7♣ check-check and completes the board with the T♣ . With a jam in front, Hayashi Hiroki calls for his last 35,000 with A♠ A♦ and has to surrender his chips to Cerbito flipping over 7♦ 6♠ .

Moving all-in from UTG with J♠ J♦ , Ryan Tan is in for a surprise when CO Michael De Leon calls for 315,000 with K♦ K♠ . The dealer delivers an insignificant 3♣ 6♥ 7♥ 3♦ T♦ to decide another massive pot.

Starting the day in 2nd, Vivencio Nachor Jr. goes out with an open to 35,000 from UTG, three-bet 85,000 from +1 Jeffrey Ponce back to the opener announcing all-in for 340,000 and a call. This massive hand has the dealer front and center.

A simple jam for 115,000 with J♣ 9♣ from Tony Khoang in CO and a call from BB Michael De Leon with A♣ Q♦ have the dealer hit the felt with A♥ 2♠ Q♠ Q♣ Q♥ for another pay jump.

Picking up the action on the flop 6♠ 8♠ 7♠ and 47,000 in the pot we see BB Alvarez Janno lead for 16,000. A call takes us to the checked turn 7♦ for the board to complete 2♦ . A check-call for 75,000 from Alvarez Janno with T♠ 3♠ is good against Yuki Nishio's 7♥ 5♦ .

Folded to SB Michael Cerbito, 40,000 go in the middle with BB William Kang defending to see the flop 8♣ 5♥ 9♠ . A 110,000 c-bet and a call present the turn 5♦ and another 80,000 is good for Cerbito to take it down.

Having banked the top bounty of P250,000 earlier in the day, Masayuki Suzuki three bet shoves his remaining 164,000 with A♦ 8♠ from SB against an open and a call from BU Francisco Sanchez holding A♣ T♥ to dominate. No changes on the board 3♦ K♣ 9♥ 6♣ 6♠ .

Jeffrey Ponce starts us off with a 25,000 open from +1, countered by a 65,000 three-bet from BU Jose Colada and the flop comes Q♣ 6♦ 2♠ . Checked to the BU, 26,000 go over the line and a call reveals 7♦ . Another 85,000 lead in position from Jose Colada shuts his opponent down.

With +1 Francisco Sanchez making it 25,000 and BU Hayashi Hiroki increasing to 50,000 we get treated with the flop 8♥ 4♥ 4♦ . Another 30,000 c-bet takes us to the turn K♣ and Hayashi Hiroki announces all-in for 80,000 and takes down the pot.

With a 25,000 open from +1, Jose Colada needs a time bank to call BU Ivan Dela Cruz' 115,000 jam and all eyes wander to the dealer's hands.

With UTG Lim Shyh Chyn jamming for 84,000 holding A♦ 2♦ and CO Ryan Tan itching to gobble up another bounty with 9♦ 8♣ we put the dealer to work flipping over K♥ T♦ 6♣ 8♥ 5♠ to grant Ryan Tan his wish.

Kicking off the action with a 166,000 jam from UTG with T♦ 9♦ , Alvares Janno gets called by Vivencio Nachor Jr. from BB holding 3♣ A♥ . The suited connectors hit on T♥ 9♠ K♦ 3♠ Q♥ to gift a double up.

Choy Ho announces all-in 78,000 from UTG with A♦ 9♥ and SB Michael Cerbito rolls the dice for another bounty by calling with Q♥ T♥ . The dealer almost seals the deal with A♠ 5♦ 3♥ , but changes her mind to complete the board K♠ J♦ for a straight and a knock out going to Michael Cerbito.

With a 20,000 open from Yuki Nishio in CO we see SB Vivencio Nachor Jr. pump it up to 55,000 to see the flop 3♥ Q♦ 9♣ heads up. A 20,000 c-bet and a call take us to the turn 2♥ for another continuation of 75,000 to go into the middle. With the aid of a time bank, Yuki Nishio finds the call to see the river J♠ . Another 150,000 from Vivencio Nachor Jr. gets called by Yuki Nichio, holding 3♠ 3♣ and the aggressor's cards go straight into the muck.

Opening to 42,000 from CO, Ryan Tan takes BB Alvares Janno to the flop Q♦ J♦ A♣ and the action gets checked to the aggressor forking out another 15,000 to take down the pot uncontested.

Facing a 20,000 open from UTG Edgar Asehan, Jose Colada jams for 121,000 with A♠ Q♠ and gets snapped by his opponent, flipping over A♦ K♣ to dominate. Having a heart for underdogs, the dealer cooks up 3♥ 4♦ Q♥ 2♥ 4♣ , denies a bounty and takes Jose Colada out of the danger zone.

First to act Mark Hebron opens for 22,000, answered by a 60,000 three-bet from Masayuki Suzuki in CO for the flop J♣ 2♣ J♥ . With a check in front, Masayuki Suzuki announces all-in for 86,000 and scoops up the pot.

Tony Khoang kicks off the action with a 30,000 open from HJ with BB Vivencio Nachor Jr. defending to see the flop 2♠ 4♣ Q♥ . A 15,000 continuation gets raised to 40,000 and Tony Khoang goes in the tank. After some deliberation, Khoang lets it go and throws a time bank in the dealers general direction.

Making it 16,000 UTG Francisco Sanchez takes BB Jose Colada to the flop 7♥ 8♠ 5♣ with the latter sliding out a donk-bet of 21,000 that gets called. On the turn Q♦ Jose Colada leads for another 60,000 and a call completes the board 7♥ . Putting Francisco Sanchez all-in, Jose Colada gets called with his pants down A♣ J♦ against Q♣ T♣ from his opponent.

With UTG Ryan Tan opening 18,000 and BU Alvarez Janno calling we see the flop 4♦ Q♥ 8♠ . A 15,000 c-bet gets called to reveal the turn 4♠ followed by Ryan Tan slowing down with a check. Alvarez Janno tests the waters with a 30,000 lead, countered by a 90,000 raise and decides to go all-in for 235,000. Ryan Tan lets it go to preserve a healthy stack.

A quick all-in from UTG Ngoc Vu for 39,000 holding 2♣ 2♠ and an even quicker call from SB Vivencio Nachor Jr. with Q♣ Q♠ the dealer tables K♠ 4♥ 8♦ 9♦ 5♠ and grants Vivencio Nachor Jr. a P50,000 bounty.

Starting us off with a 16,000 open from +1, Francisco Sanchez takes both blinds to the flop K♠ J♦ 5♦ with the action checked to him. Continuing for 11,000, he has to let it go against BB Michael De Leon who slides 31,000 over the line.

Kicking off the action with a 16,000 open from HJ, Hayashi Hiroki quickly calls the 60,000 all-in announced by BB James Soriano for the dealer to decide another race.

Coming off of a double up, Rintalahti Jussi looks down at A♠ J♥ on the button and jams for 99,000 against Lim Shyh Chyn's 12,000 open from CO, who decides to call with 6♣ 6♥ and all eyes are on the dealers hands unveiling 7♠ 9♠ 8♣ 4♦ 7♣ to send the next player packing.

Losing a few hands after delivering his last knock out, BB Masayuki Suzuki tags along for 15,000 to see the flop 6♥ 4♣ J♥ and checks. Pre flop aggressor Michael De Leon continues for 9,000 and another call reveals the turn 5♠ that gets checked to the river Q♥ . Masayuki Suzuki takes over the reins with a 50,000 lead to pick up the pot.

Picking up the action on the river 7♠ 3♠ 4♣ 8♠ 9♣ and 65,000 in the pot, we see Rintalahti Jussi check-call all-in 26,000 with K♠ 9♦ against UTG big stack Vivencio Nachor Jr. flipping over A♦ 8♣ to scoop up a much needed double up.

When faced with a 12,000 open from HJ Kim Hong Ko, SB Jose Colada pumps it to 36,000 and a call has the dealer reveal 3♣ 8♠ 4♣ . A small c-bet of 12,000 induces Kim Hong Ko to jam 100,000 with 3♠ 3♥ that gets snapped by Jose Colada holding the nuts 8♦ 8♥ . The dealer doesn't deliver a wonder and completes the board 8♣ 4♠ , sending Kim Hong Ko to the rail.

After doubling against Sham Wing Sheuk a few hands prior, Masayuki Suzuki counters his next 42,000 open from SB with a three bet to 130,000. Sham Wing Sheuk calls his last 50,000, flips over A♦ 5♥ and is dominated by Suzuki's 5♦ 5♣ . The dealer agrees, revealing 9♥ K♠ J♠ 8♥ 8♠ , knocking out Sham Wing Sheuk in the process.

Sham Wing Sheuk kicks off the action with an 11,000 raise from BU with 3♥ 3♦ and BB Masayuki Suzuki jams for 72,000 holding A♠ T♦ . A call has the dealer center stage tabling A♣ A♥ K♦ 2♦ 7♥ , keeping Masayuki Suzuki in the tournament.

Picking up the action on the river 3♠ T♦ 3♦ 7♠ K♥ and 53,000 in the middle we see Francisco Sanchez lead 20,000 with 3♥ 5♥ countered by a jam from Kang Beomhui holding K♠ T♣ and a quick call, thinning out the field further.

With an open-jam from BU for 50,000 holding A♦ J♣ , Andrei Vavilonskii is in good shape against a call from SB Tony Khoang holding A♣ 9♠ . The dealer wants to see big bounties, so disregards percentages and hits the felt 9♥ 4♣ 8♣ T♥ T♠ for the next bounty waiting to be revealed.

Sliding his last 9,000 in the middle, Patrick Wahlquist watches on as both blinds fill up and check it down to the river A♠ 9♣ 5♣ 2♣ K♣ with Mark Hebron spiking a flush and picking up the P35,000 bounty with 7♣ 7♦ against K♠ J♠ from the shorty and 4♥ 4♠ for Edgar Asehan.

Holding 7♠ 7♣ , Patrick Wahlquist opens 10,000, followed by a three-bet to 43,000 from BB Lim Shyh Chyn holding A♠ A♥ and all the chips go in with Lim Shyh Chyn being at risk for 90,000. The dealer delivers a low board 2♦ 6♥ 4♥ 3♠ 3♦ and Patrick Wahlquist is left with less than two BB.

The cards go flying with everyone hoping to score big bounties!

On our menu today is the ₱20,000 Mystery Bounty Day 2 Final starting at 12:00 noon. A total of 193 entries over both flights saw Ryan Tan come out on top, starting the day with 518,000 in the lead, followed by Vivencio Nachor Jr. stacking 449,000 and Flight A chip leader Alvarez Janno unpacking 324,000.

The final 30 will battle it out for a share of the ₱3,294,896 available, with top spot taking home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a piece of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000. So our first knockout today has a chance of being worth ₱250,000. Exciting!
