After another 15 levels of Day 1 play in the Main Event are under our belts we reached the final 19 out of a starting field of 126 advancing to Day 2 on Saturday 13:00.

With the top 5 eclipsing yesterdays Flight A chip leader we saw Mystery Bounty's biggest winner Fransisco Sanchez come out on top with 379,000 to his name, after another stellar performance. In close quarters we have 2nd in chips Kim Jaejoong bagging 367,000 and David Rene Mar in 3rd with 341,000.

For all the players missing out today, we have Flight C on Friday at 13:00 with the usual 10 levels of late registration until around 20:10.

David Rene Mar raises to 8,500 with 7♠ 7♦ from CO, Eva Zhang jams 29,500 with K♦ Q♥ and we have a flip on our hands. The dealer turns over 8♦ J♦ T♣ T♠ Q♣ for a last minute hit, granting Eva Zhang a much needed double up.

Fransisco Sanchez opens 8,000 from CO and An Seung Yong defends BB for the flop K♥ 3♣ J♦ . A 7,000 c-bet leaves the leaders stack and gets called to reveal the turn 6♠ that gets checked to the river K♦ . Not scared of the big stack, An Seung Yong slides out 16,500 out of position and takes down the pot.

Koga Takayuki continues to make plays with another open from UTG for 6,500 to take SB David Rene Mar to the flop A♥ 4♠ 7♦ with the latter donk-betting 5,000 and be met with a call to see the turn Q♥ . Another 16,000 lead from David Rene Mar ends the hand.

Koga Takayuki wakes up with A♦ A♣ and opens 6,000 from HJ. Suya Lee jams 36,500 with K♥ Q♦ , cant find anything useful on 7♠ 9♥ 3♠ J♠ 6♦ and we reach the bubble.

Marco Espela opens K♣ K♠ from UTG, SB Edgar Asehan jams 50,000 with 4♠ 4♣ and another player is at risk. The dealer flips over Q♦ 3♠ 8♥ K♥ 9♥ and sends Edgar Asehan packing.

An Seung Yong calls, thereby shutting down the action for the rest of the hand with the board completing Q♦ 7♣ , An Seung Yong shows 9♠ 9♦ but has to surrender to Kim Kunwoo's A♣ 6♥ .

Fresh from chipping up, Vito Tjahyadi opens 7,000 with 8♠ 8♦ from the button, BB Soh Puay Hwee jams 20,000 with A♦ 4♣ and the dealer gets ready to table J♦ 9♥ K♣ 5♥ 6♣ handing out another knock-out.

Looking at A♣ Q♣ , UTG Robert Yamashita opens 5,000, gets raised to 13,000 from the player to his left and the action is back to him to four-bet 40,000. Big stack Thomas Po Xiang Jun shoves with A♠ A♥ and Robert Yamashita puts his remaining 20,000 in the middle looking for major improvement. The dealer pulls 8♣ Q♣ 4♦ J♠ 2♣ out of her sleave, giving him a pair, but is out nevertheless.

Big stack Kim Sehyeon opens 5,000 from HJ and takes BU Edgar Asehan to the flop 8♦ Q♦ 6♦ , unicolor again. Sehyeon continues for 4,000, gets called and both players are happy to check it to the river A♣ 5♣ with Kim Sehyeon flipping over the winner K♣ Q♥ .

An open limp from the SB provokes a 9,000 raise from BB Renniel Galvez and gets called from limper Richard Marquez to reveal the flop J♣ T♥ K♣ . He check calls another 6,000 c-bet to see the turn 9♥ and takes over with a 10,000 bet of his own. Galvez calls, the river 5♦ drops Marquez is back to checking and Galvez lays out 30,000 with A♠ Q♦ . Having a straight himself, Richard Marquez makes the call with Q♠ 5♣ but has to surrender the pot.

Coming off of several loses within the past few minutes, Masanori Ishihara picks up 6♥ 6♦ on the button and opens 4,000. BB Robert Yamashita three-bets 25,000 with 4♥ 4♦ , a 43,000 jam from Ishihara and a call get the dealer ready to spice up the felt with K♣ 4♠ 5♠ 4♣ 3♣ , delivering another bad beat to end his night early.

Opening 4,000 from +1, Marco Espela is faced with opposition to his left, making it 10,500. After calling and watching the flop materialize 5♦ T♦ 9♠ , he leads 23,000 and picks up the pot.

Darren Moves initiates the action once more with a 4,500 open from UTG to take the button Masanori Ishihara to another unicolor flop Q♥ 2♥ 3♥ and tests the waters with a 2,000 c-bet. The button pumps it to 7,000 and Darren Moves fills up. Another check-call of 10,000 takes him to the river 3♣ and he announces all-in for 20,000 with A♥ 9♥ flush. Opening 5,000 from +1, chip leader Lenart Ecarma takes CO Sergius Santos to the flop K♠ A♣ 2♦ and continues for 4,000. Making the call, Sergius Santos watches the 2♠ get dropped for a check around to the river 7♥ and when checked to him again, forks out a winning bet of 10,000.

Darren Moves slides out another 5,000 as continuation and only BB Ando Yuhei pays up to the the turn Q♣ that gets checked to the river 4♥ . Not scared of the flush, Ando Yuhei takes over with a 20,000 lead, Darren Moves calls, but throws it in the muck when Ando Yuhei tables J♠ 4♣ .

With an open to 2,300 from UTG, Yu Jung-Hyun takes HJ Joseph Magnotti to the flop 4♥ Q♦ 9♣ that gets checked to the turn J♠ and a delayed c-bet of 6,000 gets the job done.

Hisashi Yamanouchi opens 3,000 from CO and takes the remaining three players to the flop 4♣ 2♦ 5♦ . Checked to the preflop raiser, a 6,000 c-bet goes over the line and only SB David Rene Mar pays to see the turn J♥ that gets checked around to complete the board 9♣ . Opening to 2,500 from UTG, Ashley Patterson finds opposition from Edgar Asehan in the BB three-betting 7,500 with J♠ J♣ . Having 9♣ 9♥ seems good enough for a 22,500 jam that reveals the bad news. The dealer has no help on 2♣ A♠ 7♠ 2♥ J♥ to deliver another knockout.

Making it 2,500 from UTG, Yun Taeil takes three contenders to the flop 7♦ 7♣ 2♦ . Checked to Robert Yamashita in the HJ, 5,200 go over the line and only Yun Taeil pays to see the turn A♥ that gets checked to the river 7♠ . Out of position, Yun Taeil bets 10,000 and scoops up the pot.

Another heads up gets initiated by Alvir Inocentes with a 2,400 raise from +1 and Tomoto Daijiro defending big blind for the flop 4♥ J♦ J♣ .
