Lee Suya bubbles Main Event Day 1D
With action folded to the blinds, Denmark's Patrick Wahlquist in the SB made the bold move to shove into the BB of Korean poker veteran Lee Suya. After much consideration, Lee opted to call.
Wahlquist turned over A♣ 5♦ while Lee showed live cards in J♣ 7♠ .
The flop came 9♥ 4♥ A♦ giving Wahlquist an almost insurmountable lead.
Needing running cards to extend his tournament life and continue the day's competition, Lee found himself drawing dead on the turn when the Q♦ appeared. To add insult to injury, Wahlquist gets the A♠ on the river as Lee is the final elimination of Day 1D and brings the remaining ten players into Day 2 to join the 70 others who already advanced.

Vasay's 9s dodge over cards, busts two
Joemark Vasay knows that he is close to advancing and needs to control his own destiny by staying aggressive with the bubble looming.
He raises from UTG but to his surprise, fellow Filipinos George Salud and Mac Mantos go all-in. Salud is in for his last 84,000 and Mantos for his last 32,000. Covering both, Vasay takes on the challenge and makes the call.
Salud tables A♥ K♥ while Mantos turns over Q♥ J♠. Vasay shows 9♠ 9♦ and even if he has a made hand, it is vulnerable against such over cards.
The runout goes: 3♦ 6♦ 6♠ 2♣ 5♥ .
Vasay dodges all overcards and successfully busts two players in the process.

Gonzales eliminated with set
The action got folded to the CO where Filipino Martin Gonzales suddenly put all his chips in the middle and was called by Korea's Kim Yang Kyun who covered him.
Gonzales turned over T♠ T♣ while the Kim showed he had two over card and coin flipping with K♠ Q♠ .
The first three cards of the runout were 3♣ J♠ A♦ and one of Gonzales' mates shouted: "No ten!"
That's exactly what happened on the turn, though, as the T♥ appeared.
Needing the board to pair on the river, the 4♦ came out and sent the Filipino veteran to the rail for good

Asnani bow out to An's turned set
Hong Kong's Harish Asnani had only one move in mind when the action was folded to him in the SB: go all-in for his last 84,000 to steal the blinds and ante. He did just that but got called by Korean An Sangjin in the BB.
Asnani flipped over A♥ 2♥ and the Korean had the edge holding 6♦ 6♠ .
The flop came 8♦ A♣ 6♣ as Asnani's prayer for an ace was answered, but he didn'y want to see it with a six that gave a set to this opponent. The 7♦ on the turn sealed the deal and the Q♥ on the river made Asnani's exit official.
