Flight Day 1A of the Mystery Bounty PHP 2 Million Guaranteed wrapped up yesterday with the top 10 survivors of 40 making it through to the Day 2 Final.

Leading the survivors was Dairijo Tomoto who bagged 421,000 chips (70 bb). Tomoto held on to the chip lead through most of the tournament. Norbertas Popa was second in chips with 300,000 (50 bb)0 with Ong Rui Ming of Singapore notching the third spot with 205,000 (34 bb)

The Day 2 final will play on Monday, September 23 following the conclusion of the last Day 1B that happens tomorrow.

Siddharth Mishra had to overcome Shimoni Shlomi in a back and forth heads-up duel.

In the final hand, Shlomi min-raised from the button with Mishra making the call to see a flop A♥ 2♠ 4♠ . Mishra led out with 40,000 which Shimon re-raised, eventually leading to Mishra pushing his chips all in. Shlomi made the call for a showdown.

It only took a few hands of heads-up battle between Alvir Inocentes versus Eiji Kanno did not last very long. Inocentes had a near 4:1 advantage over Kanno with a lot of leg room to be braver.

The 19th Manila Megastack brings another "big money guarantee" event for poker players to dig into. This time for a guaranteed PHP 1 Million (~USD 18,000). So far, 28 players are registered with more expected to buy in before registration closes.

Some of the key players to watch out for include J Michael Shell, who was the champion in yesterday's Super Knockout PHP 10,000 Bounty. Shell was very enthusiastic after his win last night and is hoping that the rush continues into today's tournament. Shell has been on a great run before coming to the Manila Megastack 19. Three Day 1 flights concluded in the opening 2 days of the 19th Manila Megstack Series to set up a final showdown today. 50 players of a total 325 entries will be fighting for their share of a PHP 4,577,430 prize pool, surpassing the guaranteed PHP 3 Million.
