With a board showing J♣ Q♦ 7♦ 9♥, East Chen from the small blind and X.B.B. from the big blind check-called after C.J. Chen bet 6,000. The river brought a K♠, and the blinds checked over again. C.J. Chen fired out 15,500, forcing his opponents to muck the hand.

The action was picked up on the turn with a board reading 7♣ T♥ K♣ 5♥ and around 3,000 chips in the middle. East Chen checked from the small blind to X.B.B., on the big blind, who the bet 2,000. Chen dropped in a call. The 2♠ fell on the turn, where Chen checked over again, and X.B.B. fired out 4,500, which didn’t deter Chen from making the call. X.B.B. showed J♠ 8♦ for a bluff while Chen tabled a flopped pair of sevens with 7♠ 6♣.

Taichi Baba opened to 1,600 from the cutoff only to be jammed by East Chen for 12,000 more from the small blind, which Baba snap-folded. Chen managed to chip up a little bit.
