After 7.5 hours of play, Main Event Day 1C wrapped up with Filipino Justin Geronimo bagging the chip lead. This was another impressive performance by Geronimo who topped the counts at two other events, eventually finishing in 3rd place at the Crazy Weekend Accumulator. At Main Event Day 1C, Geronimo railed numerous players to close the day with 302,000 in chips.

The final table is underway, Yeung Tsz Wai was eliminated in 9th place and was followed to the rails by Ng Pui Cheng. Cheng’s A♠ 8♣ fell to Hsieh Min Jung’s A♣ 9♠ when a Nine spiked the flop.

Button Hsieh Min Jung raises to 8000, small blind Dicky Tsang shoves his 32,000 stack, Hsieh calls and shows A♥ T♥ . Tsang has 6♥ 6♣ for a flip. A♠ the board runs J♠ J♦ J♣ 5♥ T♦ , Hsieh spikes a higher pair on the river to eliminate Tsang and form the final table.

From cutoff, Hsieh Min Jung raises to 4500, big blind calls, the flop runs 6♠ J♠ K♠ , big blind checks, Hsieh bets 13,000 and wins the pot.

On a board T♦ 2♣ 6♥ 7♠ 4♥ and around 36,000 in the pot, Justin Geronimo bet 20,000 to send Hsieh Min Jung tanking. Hsieh found the decision to call and it was the right one. Geronimo had 5♦ 5♠ , Hsieh shipped it with Q♥ T♣ top pair.
