The King’s Charity Super High Roller kicked off the King Poker Sup series in the Les A Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World Resort with the biggest buy-in event of the series at a whopping USD 100,000.

The event took three intense days of poker action to complete with Bryn Kenney of the USA finally lifting the trophy and collecting the champion’s loot of USD 1,954,000.

Kenney showed why he is the all-time money leader in the world with a come-from-the-bottom surge on the final table, and then pressuring start-of-day chip leader Jesse Lonis in the final heads-up battle to emerge as the champion.

THE ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The first day of the event saw 57 entries take to the felt, ponying up the luscious USD 100,000 entrance fee, which is the biggest buy-in event of the King Poker Cup series.

A lot of big poker names came to play, such as Malaysia's Wai Kiat Lee, USA's Joseph Cheong, Matthew Wantman and David Coleman, China's Biao Ding and Haohui Ma, Austria's Samuel Mullur, Hong Kong's Dong Chen and Danny Tang and Poland's Wiktor Malinowski.

A total of 37 entries made it through to Day 2 with China's Tony Ren Lin leading the charge as the chip leader, followed by Elton Tsang and Tom Dwan.

Late registration was still open at the start of Day 2 with Bryn Kenney, 2025 GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri of Thailand and high roller crusher Calvin Lee of the USA among the late entries. A total of 71 entries were recorded, creating a whopping prize pool worth USD 6,674,000.

Only the top 11 players would get a share of the payout pie and it took until the 18th level of play for the bubble to burst on Lithuania's Gytis Lazauninkas, whose pocket kings were cracked by ace on the river against the ace-jack of David Miscikowski from the USA.

With 11 players in the money, Day 2 ended when the final table of 9 was set. Failing to join the Day 3 final were Tony Ren Lin (11th place) and Unknown 1 (10th place).

Lin's chip lead entering into Day 2 got brutalized during the bubble when his bluff was caught by Jesse Lonis. That hand catapulted Lonis to the chip lead and did significant damage to Lin.

On the very first hand after the bubble burst, Lin eventually lost all his chips to Lonis. Unknown 1 followed shortly when he committed all his chips on the flop against Xing's top pair to chase an open-ended straight draw, but not being able to convert.

With that elimination the final table was set to return for action on the Day 3 final and crown a champion.

FINAL TABLE ACTION

On the Day 3 final, Jesse Lonis entered the final table as the chip leader with a monstrous stack of 9,950,000. His closest rival was Tom Dwan with 5,900,000 followed by Elton Tsang with 5,125,000.

It didn't take long before China's Feixiang Ruan became the first casualty of the final table. Ruan risked his short stack with ace-jack, but ran into the ace-queen of Elton Tsang and failed to improve.

Soon after, HY bowed out when his pocket fours were crushed by the big slick of Jesse Lonis.

Following the first break, the next final table casualty was David Miscikowsi whose pocket fours were counterfeited by a jack-seven two pair on the board. Lonis' king made the better kicker, sending Miscikowski out in brutal fashion at 7th place.

Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan had started the day second in chips, but then got severely crippled when his pocket jacks got outdrawn by the big slick of Bryn Kenney.

On the very next hand, Dwan's big slick lost out to the ten-eight of Lonis, who played the hand with only a little bit of change to call from his monster stack.

The fifth place finisher was China's Xing, who had a good run to get out from the bottom of the pack, but went back to a short-stack when Kenney's jack-nine lucked out against Xing's ace-king.

Eventually, Xing pushed his short stack with a clubbed king-ten, but couldn't get past the pocket queens of Lonis.

Xuanyi Wang of China tumbled in fourth place when he risked his short stack with ace-deuce and lost to the hearted king-jack of Bryn Kenney, who made two pair on the river against Wang's flopped top pair.

Elton Tsang

Three-way action was intense between Elton Tsang, Bryn Kenney and Jesse Lonis.

Elton Tsang of Hong Kong eventually was the one to fall in third place after his ace-queen ran into the ace-king of Kenney.

Tsang's elimination eventually set up the heads-up battle between Kenney and Lonis.

HEADS UP BATTLE

Bryn Kenney entered the heads-up battle with a slight advantage, holding 18,000,000 chips against the 17,000,000 of Jesse Lonis.

It was a back and forth battle but Kenney applied more pressure and scored the better pots to slowly chip away at Lonis.

Kenney eventually extended his lead when a two pair versus two pair situation favored him over Lonis, leaving Lonis with just 8,000,000 chips agains the 27,000,000 of Kenney.

Lonis eventually committed his stack with king-deuce off and was met by Kenney with jack-ten suited. Kenney paired his ten on the flop and secured the championship.

Kenney's win now pushes his all-time money list lead even further as he now breaks the USD 90 million mark.

Meanwhile, Jesse Lonis took home an impressive USD 1,300,000 for his runner-up finish.

Bryn Kenney has just won the King's Charity Super High Roller for USD 1,954,000 after defeating Jesse Lonis in a rather quick heads-up duel.

Kenney began the heads-up battle with a small lead and continued to extend it by constantly applying pressure. He never relinquished the lead and went on to raise the trophy in the end.

Kenney had a remarkable final table run that saw him start in the bottom of the stacks and make his way to the top, following some lucky moments and some awesome play.

With this win, Kenney stretches his all-time money list lead to over USD 90 million.

Kenney check-called the 750,000 bet of Lonis to open up a Q♥ on the turn. This time Kenney held the lead with two pair.

Kenney once again check-called. But this time for 1,900,000.

The river was a 9♦, which gave Lonis two pair, but was still short against the pairs of Kenney.

David Miscikowski was on the big blind, liked the A♣ 5♦ that he saw and shoved all in for 2,300,000.

Lonis folded and Miscikowski scooped the pot.

On the next hand, action folded to Miscikowski on the small blind who limped to 150,000 on the small blind with A♥ 5♣.

Perched on the cut-off with a shimmering K♦ 9♦, Xing sang the first note of hand with a raise to 250,000. Going around the table, no one was interested save for Elton Tsang at the BB who put in the added bet to call.

The flop played T♠ 9♠ 8♥, offering Elton the straight draw and giving Xing the middle pair. Both checked.

On the turn, the 9♣ made an entrance giving Xing trips and Elton still the same hope for a straight draw. Yet Elton ad libbed on the turn, and belted out 250,000 which Xing called.

The A♣ on the river didn't change who the front man of the hand was, so with nothing Elton checked, Xing bet, and Elton exited stage left giving Xing the pot.

The King's Charity Super High Roller of the King Poker Cup series came with a hefty USD 100,000 buy-in. A total of 71 entries signed up and pushed the total prize pool to an impressive USD 6,674,000 with the top 11 players earning a piece, and the champion set to take home the top prize of USD 1,954,000.

Two days of intense poker action eventually led to the final table, which returns today to complete the task of crowning a champion.

Entering the final table as the chip leader is three-time Triton winner Jesse Lonis of the USA with a monster stack of 9,950,000 (80 BB). Lonis built his stack after braving a call for his tournament life against all-in pressure from Tony Ren Lin. Lonis made the right call, caught Lin bluffing and rocketed to the top of the chip lead by winning the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

A damaged Tony Ren Lin would eventually fall out in 11th place on the very next hand right after the bubble burst on Gytis Lazauninkas. Lin's last chips eventually falling the way of Lonis.

Second in chips is fellow American Tom Dwan with 5,900,000 (47 BB). According to his Hendon Mob profile, Dwan hasn't cashed in any tournament since 2024. Well, that's about to change. With Dwan already in the money, the question now is - how far can his second-place stack take him? Whatever happens, Dwan's total live earnings will surpass the USD 7 million mark today.

Elton Tsang

Third in chips in Hong Kong's Elton Tsang with 5,125,000 chips (41 BB). Tsang has over USD 30 million in total live earnings and has been crushing the high roller scene in Jeju the past year with several final table appearances during Triton Super High Roller events, including a win in the USD 100,000 Short Deck PLPF.

American David Miscikowski sits at fourth in chips with 4,150,000 (33 BB). The WSOP Bracelet winner has played most of his career in North America and this is an opportunity to test the waters in the Asian poker circuit. So far, this final table appearance is a favorable result, which can boost his total live earnings past the USD 3 million mark. China's Xing trails closely behind with 4,050,000 (32 BB).

Following Xing, the next four players need to find some work to do with their stacks sitting below the average.

Bryn Kenney

All-time money list leader Bryn Kenney, with nearly USD 90 million in total live earnings, sits with a stack of 1,900,000 (15 BB) and will have to spin things up to stay out of the "relegation" zone.
