After sixteen 40-minute levels, Day 1 of the APT Phu Quoc VND 120,000,000 Super High Roller is in the books with 13 players remaining. A total of 55 entries (37 unique) were recorded at the Corona Theater, with numerous notable players generating a prize pool of VND 5,761,800,000 (~$226,840).

Dong's good run in the last couple of levels continues. Especially against Chang, he seems to win every pot tonight. On K♥ J♦ 9♠ Dong put out a continuation bet, which Chang called. Dong put out a more hefty bet on the 2♣ turn and Chang had to fold his hand.
