Three Streets Of Heat From Rozhynskyi
Three players saw the flop for 700 apiece, with Erik Rozhynskyi kicking off the action. The flop came T♠ 3♣ 5♣, and it quickly narrowed to heads-up as Igor Vakhnenko called a 1,400 c-bet, while Craig Jones stepped aside.
On the 6♠ turn, Rozhynskyi ramped up the pressure with a 6,500 bet, and Vakhnenko stayed in to see the river. The final card 3♦ arrived, and Rozhynskyi went for the jugular, unloading 23,000 into the pot. The aggression paid off as Vakhnenko gave it up, awarding Rozhynskyi a well-earned pot.

When the turn comes T♠ , Jones barrels again for 3500 and Vahknenko wants to see if his draw will connect on the river to check-call. The board completes 4♦ . Both players check. Sebastien Lapp opens from early position then calls big blind Quang Trinh Do's three-bet. When the flop comes 5♣ 9♠ 8♣ , Quang continues to fire and Lapp calls again. On the turn T♠ , and nearly half of his stack in the pot, Quang goes all in for his last 10,000 and still doesn't shake off Lapp.
The cards are then flipped. Quang's K♦ K♥ is in trouble against Lapp's T♦ T♣ set. The river 5♠ seals the win for Lapp as Quang speeds off and will likely be re-entering.

Players start with a deep 30,000 that it's always a surprise to see an early bust but it does happen quite often and happened here just moments ago. On a board showing Q♥ J♦ J♠ 3♠ 6♠ and only 1400 in the pot, big blind Michael Bihari has J♣ 6♦ full house and shoved, Rozhynskyi snap-called. The event runs from May 5 to 8, kicked off by three starting flights at the NagaWorld Grand Ballroom.

For the past two years, this event has seen its guarantee crushed giving no reason for this edition to be any different. With the festival now three days in, the crowd has been steadily growing.
Among the players spotted and expected to hit the tables were Amit Kaushik, Kyle Bao Diep, Frank Lillis, Rayhaan Adam, Mike Takayama, Bien Mai, Aladin Reskallah, Leo Soma, Jinlong Hu and PokerStars LIVE Manila regulars Christian Cloutier and Joseph Magnotti.
To enter, buy-in is $1000 with late registration available until the end of Level 10. Players begin with a 30,000 stack which is a very deep and healthy 300 times the opening blinds. Blinds increase every 40 minutes with the turbo flight increasing at a faster 20 minutes.
