For runner up Fokin, it was a strong effort that padded up his wallet an extra $5,491.

After another exchange of wins, the players get to see a full board. Wattana Sophontanakup limps in and big blind Valeriy Fokin checks. At the flop 6♥ T♦ 5♥ , Fokin leads out 65,000 that's called. Same on the turn K♠ for 165,000. When the board completes 7♥ , once more Fokin bets first for 125,000, after one time bank used, Sophontanakup answers with a raise of 485,000, Fokin folds.

Wattana Sophontanakup takes back some chips after winning four consecutive hands. The first one saw him limp then bet 105,000 on a flop 5♥ A♣ 5♠ that Valeriy Fokin didn't call. this was followed by a walk, then he raised 150,000 from the button that again wasn't called to win his third in a row.

The fourth winning hand Fokin raised 125,000, Sophontanakup defended, at the flop 4♣ K♦ 9♦ , Fokin c-bet 55,000 then folded to Sophontanakup's check-raise of 155,000.

Valeriy Fokin has picked up around 10 big to trim the gap slightly. One of the more decent pots saw him limp in then see a flop 4♣ A♦ 8♠ after Wattana Sophontanakup checked. Check again from Sophontanakup, Fokin bet 105,000, and Sophontanakup called. Both checked the turn 4♠ then check again from Sophontanakup on the river 7♦ . Fokin decides to give it a stab for 140,000 and it's an easy win.

After just 31 hands, it is now heads up! Both players are still very deep however the clock will now speed up with blinds increasing every 15 minutes.

First hand of the final table and it's jabs galore starting with Wattana Sophontanakup raising 60,000, three-bet by Valeriy Fokin to 210,000, answered by Sophontanakup with a four-bet of 570,000. Fokin folds.
