The flop comes 2♥ 9♠ 8♥ as Konishi checks. Nagami continues for 2,800 and is called. The turn is the 6♦ and once again Konishi checks. Nagami fires again, this time for 6,500 and is put all-in on the check-raise by Konishi. Nagami decides to make the call.

Konishi tables T♠ 7♠ for a straight on the turn while Nagami turns over K♥ 7♥ for a flush draw that improved to an open-ended straight draw on the turn. Needing any heart to overturn the impending outcome, the K♣ is what shows up on the river.

Nagami is shown the door momentarily while Konishi nears the 70,000 chip mark with the conquest of his countryman.
