Australia's John Edward Perry has it folded to him on the D and raises to 65,000 as Darren Yu of the Philippines makes the call from the BB.

The fold comes 7♥ K♠ 3♦ as Yu checks. Perry CBets to 40,000 as the Filipino check-raises to 175,000. Perry calls.

The last two community cards are the 3♠ and Yu gets the K♣ to boot as he is still spotless in double ups.

Yu lost the lead on the turn but hits his fortuitous two-outer on the river for yet another double up--his third straight.

Hieu's stack once again falls below the one million mark.

Local bet Darren Yu opens from the HJ for 140,000 and leaves one 5,000 chip behind, indicating that he is committed to the pot regardless of pending action. It is folded around to the BBof Korean Bae Wonchul who decides to flat call.

The flop is Q♦ J♦ 8♦ as Bae flicks in a 5,000 chip. Yu does the same and is officially all-in for his tournament life.

Bae shows A♠ 7♠ while Yu tables K♣ T♠ for a flush draw plus and open-ended straight draw.

The A♣ immediately shows up on the turn to give the Filipino the win and the coup de grace is the 2♦ on the river for the flush.

The victory also puts the Korean's stack in jeopardy as it is down to less than ten BBs.

Former overall chip leader John Edward Perry of Australia has dropped all the way to eighth place in the first leaderboard update of the day. Fellow Australian Thomas Ward now occupies the top spot as he and Filipino pro Lester Edoc are the only ones breaching the two million chip mark at the moment.

A♠ if still steaming from the previous hand, Jordan Westmorland of the United States makes a UTG raise for 5,000 and is called in the D by nemesis Lee Sunghak of Korea. However, local prospect Darren Yu 3-bets from the BB to 20,000. Westmorland opts to fold but Lee stays in.

It is heads up to the flop of 6♣ J♥ 4♦ as Yu continues barreling for another 20,000. The Korean makes the call. The turn is the J♠ and this time, both check. The river is the 8♣ and both players choose not to engage any further.

Yu shows A♠ Q♦ while Lee flips over 9♠ 9♣ for two pairs, surviving the Yu onslaught.

Someone raised to 6,500 from the cut-off with Darren Yu calling from the button and Sanjeev Kapoor from the small blind. The three see a flop of 7♦ 7♠ 4♦ . Kapoor led out with 5,000. The cut-off folded. But then, Yu three-bet to 15,000. Kapoor stared down at his chips and made the call to see an A♥ on the turn. Kapoor checked and Yu counted out 50,000 to put in the middle. Kapoor gave up.
