Schulze calls to see the river J♠ . Firstov repeats with a 12,000 bet, Schulze doesn’t believe and calls and is right. Firstov shows T♦ 9♦ bluff, Schulze wins the pot with K♥ Q♥ better air.

Up until the turn, Schulze is leading then Firstov improves on the river to stay in the game.

Kunwoo Kim defends his raise by calling Oliver Schulze’s 14,500 three-bet to head to the flop 5♦ A♦ 9♠. Both keep it friendly and head to the turn Q♣ . Kim resumes betting and sends in 15,000, Schulze matches it and they get a river Q♦ . Again, Kim leads out, this time a large 25,000, Schulze lets it go.

Not only is Jacks ahead but it goes on to ensure victory with quads to ship the entire load.

With a pot of 15,000 in the middle, big blind Yan Yu bets a light 3000 on the flop of J♦ 5♣ Q♦ , button Oliver Schulze thinks it should be more and makes it 11,000 to continue. Yu calls, the turn is 3♠ . Yu checks to Schulze who fires 19,000, again Yu calls. On the river 7♠ , Schulze pushes, this time Yu doesn’t follow suit.

From cutoff, Oliver Schulze calls Martin Gonzales's 2500 raise and chips go splashing after the 2500 c-bet on the flop 6♦ T♥ 9♣ is called. Gonzales barrels 10,000 on the turn 2♣ , Schulze goes all in, Gonzales risks for his last 22,000 and shows the J♣ 7♣ flush draw gutshot. Schulze is ahead K♦ T♦ . With the river 4♠ , Gonzales is eliminated.

With 15,300 in the pot, Oliver Schulze and Sha Chengchun check it to the turn Q♠ 5♣ 8♥ K♣ . Sha leads out 7000 from the big blind and Schulze calls. They go back to checking on the river 3♠ . Sha has 6♠ 6♦ though still behind K♠ J♠ top pair.

Schulze dominates throughout to land a double up.

The UTG raise of Germany’s Oliver Schulze to 1,000 gets calls from Lin Yu-Sung of Taiwan and France’s Yannick Leonard.
